Bindi is the type of cat that you can’t help falling in love with. She is extremely cuddly and smoochy. If she’s not napping nearby then she is in your lap demanding attention.
Her favourite past-time is teasing her sister, I’ve caught her trying to wake up the other cats because she just want to play. At the start she really could not stand the other cats but when she started to feel more comfortable and relaxed she really came out of her shell.
Bindi's dream house would be somewhere she can play as much as she wants. For her to be happy she will need to live with people who can give her loads of cuddles and pats.

✨️ Bottle Baby Update ✨️

The orphaned 3-week-old babies from Mareeba Animal Refuge have settled into care nicely with one of our amazing bottle baby carers, and are quickly making friends! 😻💗

We are so grateful to our hardworking foster carers who put their all into saving the lives of these babies on a daily basis! 🙌💖

Say hello to the amazing Henrietta!
Henrietta first came into care as a 6 month old kitten in Aug 2022, along with 3 other kittens (Steve, Kevin and Gretel). She was rescued by 1 of the amazing vets at Greencross Vets, and Adopt Me Kittens took on the task of fostering her. Once in care, a double garage was set up to allow all 4 kittens to settle in and decompress as they were all quite frightened, with Henrietta being the most frightened out of the 4. After 2 nights in care Henrietta decided this wasn't the life for her, scaled the garage door whilst no one was home and slipped out between the top of the roller door and the brick wall and disappeared

Then on 12th Sept 2024 Adopt Me Kittens got a call that Henrietta had been found and was in the pound! Her original foster carer was contacted and went and visited Henrietta at the pound and well, Henrietta was less than pleased to see her. Albeit, this was also due to the stress of the situation. Beautiful Henrietta then came back into care, and has been working on settling back into foster life with the help and patience of her loving foster family.

Henrietta has some conditions to ensuring she can find the bet pawsible home:
- She needs to be an only cat as she can be dominant at other, more submissive cats.
- She is recommended to someone with experience with felines, not recommended for first time cat pawrents.
- She would benefit from being in a quieter home where she can focus on truly building strong connections and relationships with her adopters.
