Good afternoon everyone!
This is “Smol Bird”
She is a lorikeet hybrid!
Her father was a red collar and her mother was a normal rainbow x scaley lorikeet!
She is 3. I have had her since was just a wee baby and she is both sweet and absolutely phsyco 🙃
Her favourite activities include, being easily over stimulated from excitement and biting people

This is Leonard.. Leonard is obsessed with my hair 🤣

Did you know.. birds can potentially lose a toe or even their leg from one strand of your hair being entangled around it ? It is something that can be hard to notice if it is wrapped around tightly and even hidden by feathers. Over time it will cut off blood supply to the area. It will become swollen and the pressure of the hair will dig into the skin causing a nasty gash which may become infected and the toe will completely fall off if not caught early. Always be vigilant in making sure your little ones do not have any hair or other foreign materials wrapped around their body parts. Ideally try to keep them out of your hair. As you can see.. this can be a difficult task 🤣
Make sure you check carefully after playing! 🙏🏼

A simple one for my little baby.

Soft balsa wood and some raffia fringe.

Balsa is great for little birds who aren’t so destructive.
It’s soft and crunchy. They love it! 🥰
