The very last of the Barton Shelter kitty has been adopted!!!! Huge thanks to Tom’s foster parent who has been so patient, making sure he only goes to the very best home.

Thank you for everyone’s support and shares. We will be posting Tom’s photos in his new home soon!

The Barton Shelter would like to thank all our foster carers, vets, nurses, supporters, donators, you all know who you are and we cannot thank you enough! We wouldn’t have been able to save/ rehome as many animals without all your support.

As some of you know, we have recently moved interstate. We won’t be posting for a while but for those who know us you know this is not the end. We hope to come back in a few years, bigger, stronger and saving more animals! Until then, take care, adopt a cat or two, adopt a golden oldie, adopt and don’t shop!!

Please help us find the last of Barton Shelter’s Canberra cats to be homed.

Tom boy was so timid and hissy when he first came to care but his amazing foster mom gave him so much love, patience and all the time he needed, and he has now turned to become a beautiful boy who loves attention and patting from people.

He has a big personality and a big voice and loves to chat. He is affectionate, playful and gets on with other cats.

He is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and FIV tested.

Please email [email protected] to send an EOI if you think you can provide him a loving home.

Big shout out to his foster mum and ALL of our amazing foster carers who play such a HUGE part of this journey. Thank you to colleagues, friends and donators. We don’t have the exact numbers but hundreds of cats have been saved and rehomed because of you. This is the last of Barton’s Shelter’s Canberra cats to be homed and we are committed to making sure he finds not just any home but the perfect home for him.
