This beloved dog grooming salon offers a range of Dog Grooming Services that will make even the dirtiest of dogs look mighty fine! 🐕 Scooby & Friends is a fun and friendly Dog Grooming Salon based at Canberra Vet Hospital. Lucky Stars' dogs Bindi and Benni were the recipients of this personal, caring service, and Scooby have been involved in many fundraising dog washing events over the years.

My daughter Lily really wanted to wash the dogs on Sunday so we went for a trip to the salon!

Update: he has been found and foot is fine! If anyone is in Kingston, keep an eye out! The earlier the team can help, better the outcome.

UPDATE: SWAN IS NOW OK! Can you keep an eye out around the Kingston foreshore? An adult swan with a family (2 adults, 4 cygnets altogether) is caught up in fishing line. If you can tell us where they are we have a chance of freeing the swan. 0432 300 033. Thanks! Spread the word.

Look at this handsome man!

I haven’t groomed a foster dog in ages. This is Bowie. He was rescued from a pound after being found as a stray. He did have a tag that said he is 9 years old and an Irish wolfhound x malamute! What a mix! He was such a gentle, quiet man.

He has a lovely new owner who will be adopting him in a few weeks. ❤️

Replace unsafe fruit-tree netting for FREE! If a finger fits through the mesh in your net, possums and flying foxes can get trapped. ACT Wildlife, supported by the ACT Government, will replace unsafe fruit-tree netting with a wildlife-friendly net for FREE. Tomorrow -- Saturday, August 24, at our office near the Jerrabomberra Wetlands, 2 Dairy Road Fyshwick. 10:30am – 1pm.

Again, thank you to everyone who make these days so successful. From all the clients who are always so eager to join and support these events (and get a clean pooch!) to the volunteers who put in so much effort on the day, along with all our supporters from afar.

What a day! We washed and pampered 17 doggies yesterday and made $1,330 for ACT Pet Crisis Support (this includes a generous donation from my aunty Fi in Tassie of $50 to add to the total) thank you to my team of volunteers Christine and Tim (mum and dad) and great friends Alana and Lavine.

The doggies we had visit were Leia, Barney, Sally, Marcello, Thor, Raven, Gillie, Bonnie, Marty, Banjo, Bundi, Alan, Izzy, Winky, Bella, Pip and Jerky.

Thanks to everyone braving the cold and wet day to make this all happen! (Dogs were very cosy and warm inside the salon)

Everything set up ready to go for our big charity wash day tomorrow for ACT Pet Crisis Support

The three small beds all set up as it’s guaranteed that every single greyhound that enters our room will lay down at some point. Even if it’s a quick appointment they will find time.

A few beautiful new dogs yesterday. Rocky the cavoodle, Dolly the border collie and Chino the kelpie. Chino was here on holidays from Port Macquarie and had rolled in something hideous 😂
