Discover the difference in our breeding program! 🐾 ❤️

Our puppies are raised by a qualified dog trainer with extensive experience in dog behavior studies.

They enjoy an all-natural raw or steam-cooked diet, eschewing kibble for high-quality, fresh foods. Our focus on nutrition has included consultations with canine nutritionists to ensure optimal food quality. All of our dogs are on high-quality supplements which include having yearly blood tests done to make sure that each individual dog is not lacking in anything and diets are then adjusted accordingly 🍗🥦

We tailor an age-appropriate curriculum based on behavioral age milestones with the intention of creating solid stable confident puppies that are also fast learners .

We encourage visitors to meet both the puppies and their parents, starting from five weeks of age we aim to try and have the puppies meet at least 20 different new people each week 🙌

Social outings, crate training, and early education on learning new skills are just the start.

Puppies raised with us learn to offer behaviours and approach new objects and different surfaces with confidence.

We also have an extensive noise socialisation program where the puppies are exposed to fireworks, thunderstorms, lawnmower, whippersnippers, hairdryer, dogs barking children etc to get them used to wide variety of noises. They also have their nails done weekly so that this is something they have started before they go home.

I am now also working with Lush Puppy groomers so our puppies will have the opportunity to be at a groomers a few times before they go home to their new families.

We also do not believe in overburdening our dogs with chemicals they don’t need, so before worming our adults we do f***l egg counts at our Vet to discover whether or not they need to be wormed. We also titre test our dogs every three years to see if they are still covered by their initial vaccines.

Plus, we offer six months of free dog training post-adoption and a complete Puppy Pack, including a training guide. 📘🐶

We have fantastic relationships with other breeders that we work with and if we don’t have what you are looking for we have a network of quality breeders that we will happily refer to as well 🙌

AND we have fantastic relationships with our previous Puppy buyers they become part of our family and I always have time for them no matter what the question,even if it’s not dog related 😂❤️

Research your breeder before deciding to buy a puppy from them, ask them if you can visit and how and what they are fed. Ask them if you can talk to previous puppy owners or their vets to get a reference from them. Because you will have that Puppy for hopefully 10 to 15 years and you want to know that if there are any issues or you are having any problems that your breeder is there as your support and your back up 🙌👌

I’m excited to announce we are now doing….

DOG PHOTOGRAPHY 📷 ❤️🐾

Offering portraits in Maryborough Victoria at Lush Puppy Groomers.

$100 for 1 hour shoot including 5 x Digital photos (3 different ‘looks’)

$160 for 1 hour shoot including 5 x Digital photos and a 30cm x 40cm Canvas
( 3 different ‘looks’)

$220 for 1.5 hour shoot including 10 x digital photos, a 30cm x 40 cm canvas and a 12.5cm x 17.5cm photo block (4 x different ‘looks’)

Grooming also available on site and a grooming and photo portrait can be included on the same day.

Extra charges for grooming apply and please allow at least 3.5 hours if wishing to have both done

Jinxx and I attended agility training again on Wednesday night, but this time we had Nathan from https://www.instagram.com/concrete_animals_photography/ there taking photos and managed to capture these ones of Miss Jinxx 🥰😍

Today we start dividing the whelping box into toilet area and bedding area. To start with I just use a towel but in a few days their blanket will change to an actual ‘bed’ and we use paper kitty litter to get puppies used to walking away from their bed to toilet.
We are also placing a random item in their whelping box daily, this gets puppies used to different objects (sizes, shapes and colours) and starts teaching them new items are safe to be explored (which eventually translates when out in the real world)
To start off with it has to be something with no sharp or spiky edges obviously but also nothing that makes noises or moves because at this stage we want the puppies feeling completely safe with everything we put in there.
As they get older and their confidence grows. we start adding in items that make noise, (crinkly, musical etc) or items that roll. 

They are also getting played an assortment of noises, including fireworks and thunderstorms. And they have the TV on for them to watch.

This weekend they’ll actually start having the playpen attached to give them some more space and we will expand their toilet area , we introduce the kitty litter before we introduce food. If you do it the other way round then they can start trying to pick the litter up to eat thinking that it’s food so we introduce the kitty litter a few days before we introduce food 🙌

Everything is done in age appropriate steps with each step building on the next so that the puppies gain confidence and resilience 👌

I’m trying out this awesome system called Crumb.

It’s a tag that attaches to your dogs collar with a QR code on it that you set up for all your individual pets. If they ever go missing someone can scan the QR code and it has all of their information my contact information and a photo of them so they know it’s the right dog.

I get an alert on my phone to say that they’ve been found and a location of where they are 🙌

Hoping I’ll never need it, but it’s extra peace of mind (and yes, I am looking at you Oscar…😂😳)

This is such an incredibly helpful platform for me, I can keep everyone updated on what’s happening and I also know roughly when I have a full waitlist so that I can make responsible decisions as to when we breed I do not breed unless I know I have loving appropriate homes waiting for our babies.
So it does help me immensely when people stay in touch and let me know if they have found a Puppy elsewhere or they are no longer looking makes a big difference to the decisions that we make as to when to do a breeding 🥰🙌
