What a brilliant start to the year, such a pleasure to have a brilliant team to ride with and enjoy our team penning journey together, the supportive, encouraging environment made for some bloody fantastic results. We managed to Pen 3 head in 56 secs for a 6th place and 3 head in 31 secs for 1st place, not bad for our first time in opens and riding together as a team, we can only get better. Di and Bell also run a super 18 sec two person, securing 4 th place on Saturday. To anyone looking for a great club to enjoy horse sports I recommend hoping Gympie Horse and Rodeo. Our team would like to say a huge thank you to the very dedicated Committee, sponsors, cattle donors and everyone else who made the weekend so enjoyable. Go team Tayla Equestrian.

To all of my lovely friends and horsey friends, I am happy to finally say, after a long battle with the black dog, I feel I am ready to resume coaching, I have a few lessons booking in already, so shoot me a message if you are need of a coach in the Gympie and surrounding areas. 🤠

The beautiful Halley, out and about on her first trail ride, she was absolutely lovely, great with traffic, walked out well, had a very small shy at an ants mound 😂, love this girl.

A bit fresh today, we have had a fair bit of rain and no dry areas to work, today Halley will find herself in the round yard, running off some beans.

Bell was flooded in today, so since I couldn’t keep her off a horse I thought she may as well do Halley, Bell is working on the back up and Halley was lovely as per usual, watch this space if you are looking for a pretty, safe all rounder in the coming months.

A light ride for Halley today, our arena is slippery and wet so we rode around the paddock, Halley is learning to walk at a calm pace and listen to a half halt. This girl is an absolute pleasure to have around, someone’s forever dreams will come true with this lovely lady, she is extremely affectionate and thrives on attention.

Welcome to Tayla Equestrian Horses, we are expanding our services and adding our training horses to this page as they become available for new homes. We spend a large amount of time focused on ground work, ridden and campaigning before our lovely horses become available, this page is an option to watch their journey from green horse to school horse. Once there program is complete this will then be your chance to enjoy some training with a prospective mount and follow on with a possible purchase and after purchase training and lessons. We hope you enjoy the journey as we take you on a ride.
