Castletown Heavy Horses Established in 2022 by the Forrester family, our aim is to breed quality heavy horses with a focus on temperament, trainability and excellent conformation.

We want to produce safe, reliable horses that the whole family will enjoy!

You hear people talking about heart horses, a once in a lifetime partner. I’ve been fortunate enough to share that connection with a few horses, one of which being this boy’s sire Minstrel. I knew as soon as I laid eyes on Blitz that he is special. I felt that instant connection to him as if I had met him before. It’s been an absolute treat to spend everyday together growing our bond ❤️

It’s farrier day. It’s raining. I have my toddler. I drive down to the horses to realise the halter I grabbed is too small….. I’m thanking my horse for being such a gem 😂❤️
