Sweet old girl came for a deshed today, we took it slow with her & gave her lots of breaks to lay down & rest her old legs.
She definitely will be feeling cooler now & left me a huge furry mess to clean up after 😂

She recently had a vet visit hence the two shave patches on her legs**

8mth old border collie x poodle, Bowie, came to see me for his first ever groom today.
He’s very loving & I’m happy to report he was a very good boy & we got everything done that we had planned. He can finally see again now the hair has been cleared from his eyes. Also props to his owner, Bowies coat was not matted or knotted at all, A+ for brushing!

I know when he comes back he’ll be the best boy & we can work on desensitising him to the clippers more ready for his big boy hair cut.

Baby boy Stuey is growing up so fast 🥹 each puppy session he is taking it all in his little stride, we are able to get his face trimmed a lot better now as he learns some patience. He’s wonderful to be bathed, blow dried & to do his nails.

Sweet girl Abby came today for a bath & tidy. She had a cruciate repair late last year so we neatened up her pants to even out both sides.

She came in a little anxious, but she left feeling a lot better about me & I think we have become friends 🥰 she is very sweet & very dramatic but I expect nothing less from an Aussie Shepherd 😂

Hatchi received a bath, deshed, blow dry, nail trim, paw & ear trim & we also cleaned up her sanitary area so she’s easier to maintain at home for her family ❤️

Harry’s first time this week seeing a professional groomer, we did our best in bathing, deshedding, blow drying most of him, trimming nails & removing some matting. He wasn’t quite up for removing the matting between his legs, maybe next time we can progress and finish the groom.

**I’m a firm believer in humanity over vanity. Severe matting will always be shaved, matting is very painful for your dog & trying to de-mat can lead to bruising, pain, hematoma & traumatise your dog for future grooms. I want your pups experience here to be a good one so I will do everything in my power to make that happen, even if it means we cannot complete a groom & have to try again another day❤️

Border collie Wickie came in for his first groom today, we were unsure of how he would be for me but turns out he’s the sweetest boy & I have no doubt he’ll be a pro for grooming in no time 🥰

He received a bath, deshed, blow dry, brush, paw & ear trim & we managed to get a few nails trimmed without stressing him out.
