ANNOUNCEMENT
It is with disappointment and regret we announce the Central Coast Business Excellence Awards will not be held in 2019 and beyond.
Ultimately, we have fallen shy of the funding required to host the Awards to the standards we have set since their inception.
It was our goal to deliver an event that truly showcased the regions most outstanding business achievers and an event that would hold its own anywhere, irrespective of location.
Our mantra of ‘celebrate the strivers, the visionaries, the doers, and the risk takers, the Shining Lights’ clearly illustrated our primary objective.
We received incredible support from Jason van Genderen and his team from Treehouse Creative. To Jas, Niall, Ginny and Megan thank you from the bottom of my heart. Jas, you are the epitome of our mantra and we wish you continued success, and like Mercedes-Benz you are an Award-Winner at every level.
Our sponsor partners enabled us to hold the Awards for eight years. In particular our major partners, Mercedes-Benz Gosford [6 years] and helloworld Erina Group [2 years]. Tim and his team at Mercedes-Benz were brilliant partners and their involvement was a catalyst in securing other sponsor partners. Likewise, Maxeine McKeon [helloworld Erina Group] who remains one of this regions most inspiring business leaders. We are also indebted to our founding partners UON Central Coast and the NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet for their vision and commitment.
We are grateful to those businesses that entered and say thank you for your support. Equally, our photographers, our fabulous musicians and entertainers, AV suppliers, BAX AV, Entertainment Installations, venues, Rod McCormack and Gina Jeffreys, Kel-Leigh Couture, Adam Harvey, and our judging panellists, Margaret Haseltine, Mike Goodman, Dr Lisa Barnes, Anton Kris, Frank Sammut, Donna Bailey, John Knight, Annabel Leete and Graham Baker.
We knew from the outset our Awards business model was unlikely to be sustainable here on the Coast but it still makes this decision very painful.
We are thankful our former Alliance Partner, the Central Coast NSW Business Chamber will continue to host an Awards program

The helloworld Erina Group is proud to announce our independent judging panel. We are extremely grateful for their contribution and we highly value their expertise and integrity they bring to the Awards. Dr Lisa Barnes and Annabelle Leete are returning judges and they will be joined by former CEO of Masterfoods, Jim Eve.
