Hello everyone, my name is Maya, and I am a Grade 10 student. I absolutely love animals and my dream job is to become a vet when I grow up.

Last year, I had the amazing opportunity to visit the Animal Welfare League close to where I live. I must say, it was quite an eye-opening experience for me, to see how many animals are needing to be rehomed and how much work is involved behind the scenes by the dedicated staff to look after them. 🐶

On my way home that day, I kept on thinking about what I can do to make a difference in their lives, even if it’s a small deed, and finally, I came up with the idea of making dog toys to help fund-raise for these animals in need.

These blanket toys are made out of fleece and come in two sizes: Large (approx. 40cm and costs $7) and Small (approx. 25cm and costs $5). You can choose your mix of colours – up to a combination of 4 colours as shown in the pictures. This of course is subject to blankets I manage to find in the stores.

These toys are not only great for bonding with your dog, but they are also a fun toy to play Fetch and Tug of War with. They also help clean your dog’s teeth while they pull and chew.
My way of helping the Animal Welfare League is by contributing 50% of the net proceeds to them.

So, if you could please help me fund raise, I am sure we will all make a difference in these animals’ lives.

Pick up is from Cleveland QLD, however I am ready to post at an additional cost.

I am dedicating this page to my first puppy Milo, who has now crossed the rainbow bridge at the age of 6 months. 🐾🌈
