Miniature Goats!
What do you do if you are a sociable, fun-loving animal? You go to the Clunes & District Agricultural Society!
It was only the second time we’ve done a Miniature Goat Breeders Association of Australia - MGBA display (joined by fellow breeders Rosewood Lodge Farm) but our goats had a ball!

PS. Huge thanks to all the volunteers with the Agricultural Society who make the show possible.
Our ‘to do’ list at this time of year is endless, but time with this bunch tops up the tank so we can keep going - usually with a grin 😀 on our face.

We like to keep our goats in paddocks near our house 🏡. Australian Miniature goats make great companion animals. We like to help that along with regular handling and exposure to family life.
The end result is kids that aren’t skittish and who enjoy our company as much as we enjoy theirs.
Mini’s make great pets or a starter herd for aspiring breeders. Our 2024 waiting list for kids is open. Contact [email protected] to enquire.
With only a week to go before kidding season starts at Long View, we’ve been enjoying a trip down memory lane.
Evidence that an apple 🍏 a day might keep the Doctor away, but it will never keep a goat away!
Goats are endlessly helpful when it comes to avoiding waste. Fallen fruit or 🍎 we can’t keep up with ourselves make a great treat for the Long View herd. They are pretty efficient when it comes to garden clippings as well!
Proof that even on an overcast day there is always something you can do to entertain yourself! #goatsofinstagram
