Hi everyone & HNY. We cut this paddock a few days ago and will be ready to bale tonight/tomorrow morning before the rain. We aren’t going to offer pick up behind baler as we only have the smallest of windows to bundle and cart it. If you are still keen for some shoot me a message. 😊

Grassy lucerne hay! 50/50 Want to keep your hay prices down? We’ll be cutting this paddock when we have a good patch of weather in the next 2 weeks. If you are happy to ‘pick up behind the baler’ in the paddock, small squares will be $14 a bale. Once bundled and in the shed it will rise to $16.50 a bale. You MUST register your interest so we can let you know when we cut it. *if bales are at risk of getting rained on we will cart them.

A super Sunday of lessons today at Thomson Park with Salla Aario. From poles to 110cm, big feet, an itchy Herbie 🙄 and a couple of ‘fresh’ mares with a few extra movements thrown in too. The weather was perfect and the arena survived 300ml of rain. 🌧️

9-10th December. Weekend clinic with Salla Aario. Catering for ground work lessons to 3 star eventers. Flat work, dressage, show jumping. 1 and/or2 days. Dinner provided on Saturday night. Bring your pony and have one or four lessons over the weekend. Overnight camping/stables available.

Well a seriously hot start to lessons here at Thomson Park. I copped the 30 degree full sun to begin, Fiona the trooper followed with some repreive toward the end of her lesson. Bev had a perfect lesson cooling down with a breeze then poor Lou was onboard for 3 mins when the lightening started crashing and the rain teemed down. The stable provided dry relief to let the storm pass however Mother Nature had other plans. The balance of the lessons were postponed and anyone else interested can book in for after lunch this Saturday coming, 11th of November. It was great to catch up, kick back and chat again. Send me or Salla a message if you’re interested in a Saturday lesson. 😊

🐴Oki dokes folks! 🐴 And we’re back. The arena has a new 2cm layer of sand too. 👌First lesson day this Wednesday with Salla Aario. All spots from 12.15pm to 6.15pm are full 😊 Next lesson day is Wednesday 29th November. Let me know if you want to grab a spot.

What an amazing weekend of lessons with Salla Aario Equestrian. The weather was amazing, the company on point & the horses were all perfect. 19 lessons all together saw some tired riders & ponies by this afternoon. Saturday night around the fire was entertaining and the spa helped soothe some weary muscles.
Thankyou to everyone for being so awesome making the weekend a lot of fun.

The Spring weather arrived providing a busy day for Salla, 10 horses and their riders. We had ponies from 7.3hh to 17.3hh, show jumpers just starting their journey to the pro’s nailing their tight turns and lead changes. Standy’s cantering, green stock horses leg yeilding and some empty nesters returning to lessons after years off. Thanks to Salla Aario yet again. Pure lucerne available in small sqaures. They come in packs of 21. Beautiful young lucerne with fine stalk and lots of leaf. We also have amazing grass hay that people drive 1.5hrs for. Super Monday arvo with a few riders. It’s great that riders who are usually at other ends of the lesson list with Salla Aario are meeting each other on her Monday night lessons. It was a very funny afternoon. Miranda’s ponies are still providing our entertainment 😂
