As Cyclone Fina approaches, we want to ensure our community โ including our furry family members โ stays safe and prepared.
๐ง๏ธ Stay informed & plan ahead
Develop a household emergency plan. Include adults, children, and pets. Talk with your family about what everyone will do if separated.

Prepare an emergency kit โ include water (10 L per person per day), non-perishable food, first aid, torch, batteries, phone charger/power bank, important documents, and pet supplies.

Make sure your home is secured: secure outdoor items, trim loose branches, check doors/windows/shutters, and prepare to turn off power, gas and water if instructed.

๐พ Sheltering at home with pets
Identify the safest room in your home with little or no windows (internal laundry, hallway, bathroom, or storage room) for shelter.

Pack your emergency kit and pet supplies, and keep them close in your shelter area.

Secure your pets โ have leashes, cages or carriers ready, and include their food and water in your preparations.

During a severe storm or cyclone warning: stay inside, stay away from windows, doors, and skylights; follow your household emergency plan.

๐ถ Evacuation & Pet-Friendly Shelters
If you need to evacuate:
There are pet-friendly shelters available โ ensure you bring essentials for your pets (food, water, medications, carriers/leads/cages).
Some shelters may not allow animals โ plan ahead and check availability early.

๐ Training Class Update:
Due to the severe weather threat, all training classes scheduled for tomorrow, 22/11/2025, are cancelled.
Your safety and wellbeing (including your pets') comes first. Weโll advise when classes are rescheduled.
