PAWS Darwin is a rehoming centre for animals in the Darwin and surrounds area, but it is also a place where pet owners can get advice and help to manage their pets before they get to the too hard stage. We believe that by providing the skill set needed to support people who love animals we can change the out come for many individual pet owners, we focus on local issues and local pets with local pe

ople. Our classes are designed to teach owners how to mange their pets quickly and effectively and to get great results in a short time frame.

As the Christmas period wraps up and we slip into our preparations for the new year, we at PAWS would like to take a moment to thank everyone involved in this year's hugely successful gift-wrapping station.

For the two weeks leading into Christmas, we ran our annual stall at Palmerston Shopping Centre, and this year's outcomes were better than we could have hoped.

Thanks to every volunteer that gave their time. Without your efforts and amazing energy, we could not have achieved everything we did. Thanks to you, we raised enough money to undertake some very overdue repairs on the PAWS van, catch up on some (very) overdue bills and to purchase some much-needed resources that will improve the lives of the animals in our care.

Thank you to all of our members, as well as the hundreds of wonderful customers and donors for their generous contributions to our cause. We could not continue our work without all of you.

Finally, we would like to say a very special thank you to the management of Palmerston Shopping Centre for their generous help and support.

This beautiful girl is looking for her forever home where she can relax and enjoy all the comforts of a family. Lexi has the calm demeanor typical of her breed, and while sheโ€™s a little shy at first, once she gets to know you, sheโ€™ll shower you with affection.
