NOTIFICATION: REGISTRATION CANCELLATION

Please be aware that the products displayed below will no longer have a registration for use from the 10th of Septemer 2025.

• You can continue to use these products until the 10th of September 2025. If product expires prior to this date, then the product will need to be used by the expiry date.
• For any product that has not been used prior to the 10th of September 2025, you will need to be dispose of this in your approved chemical disposal process.
• Possession or use of these products after the 10th of September 2025 is an offence against the Agvet Code.

This decision has been made by the AVPMA.

Our RSPCA Wildlife Hospital is seeing so many baby possums, gliders, baby bats, and joeys that they are running low on pouch liners to help care for these little ones!

Our Wildlife Hospital was very fortunate to receive a wonderful donation of fabric for pouches! This is where your crafty skills come in...

If you’d like to help sew for wildlife, email our Team at [email protected] to arrange a time to collect some fabric, or if you have some scrap flannelette, light cotton or jersey material to spare our littlest wildlife friends would be very thankful.

ℹ️ Pouch liner sizes we are in desperate need of are:
Small: 20cm width x 35cm height (finished sized)
Medium: 25xm width x 40xm height (finished sized)

Any finished pouch liners can be dropped off at our Wildlife Hospital or posted to:

Thank you for stopping by to say G’Day!

Dayboro Pet & Rural was established in late June 2019 at the Old Mill Site in Dayboro as a “Community Hub” for Locals to source good quality stock feed, pet food and all the accessories and services that come with the care of animals. I, Kat Price, the owner of Dayboro Pet & Rural aim to use my 20+ years of knowledge and experience in the care of all species of animals, to provide reliable and sound advice in the care of our customers animals. I have studied a Bachelor Degree in Ecology and Biodiversity, a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and other numerous courses focused around the nutrition, physiology and behaviours of animals.

As a Veterinary Nurse, A Registered Wild Life Carer, A former Parks & Wildlife Officer and Biologist/Ecologist I invite our customers to come in store, say G’Day and I’d love to chat about how the DPR Team can help you!

As well as providing a great range of stock feed, pet food, livestock & pet accessories, hay, chaff and hobby farmer supplies we also sell POL chickens, wildlife food and other needs, and small animal needs, like fish, turtle, reptile and guinea pig food and accessories. We have a weekend Hydrobath service every Saturday at 8am with warm washes in winter and cool baths in summer. Our produce Dayboro Pet and Rural is constantly evolving and with new ventures coming through we are excited to announce that we are moving into organic and sustainable hobby farming.
