It may be getting close to Christmas 🎄 but here at our cat rescue side if things it's kitten season. We are being inundated with litters needing rescue. This includes round the clock bottle feeding for some of the teeny tiny soles who come in to care.

We are desperately seeking foster carers who could help raise kittens from around 6 weeks to the point they can be adopted and go off to their new loving homes.

If you or someone you know can help please let us know. It's a very rewarding role.
All kittens pictured will be available for adoption once old enough and have had their vet work completed.

In late September, we were contacted about twin lambs born at a slaughterhouse.

Harlequin and her brother Hendrix arrived in our care in desperate condition - both were weak, and Harlequin was unconscious.

Fortunately, over the past weeks, these resilient lambs have been gaining strength and making remarkable progress.

However, upon their arrival, we discovered that Harlequin had a deformity, causing her to urinate upwards.

We initially suspected a prolapse and promptly took her to the vet for a thorough assessment.

The vet determined that Harlequin requires corrective surgery to protect the exposed area and to redirect her urine.

We estimate the cost of this procedure to be around $1,000, though it may be higher depending on the findings during surgery.

We are deeply committed to ensuring that Harlequin receives the surgery she needs to lead a long and fulfilling life.

As a solo-run, self-funded sanctuary, we continue to face financial pressure.

If you are inspired to help, any contribution towards Harlequin's surgery would be very appreciated.

Thank you for your support! 💜

As kitten season commences, we have received two litters of fragile newborns, requiring diligent care, including nourishment, hygiene, warmth, and love. Our team of dedicated caregivers works tirelessly, though occasionally facing heartbreaking setbacks 💔, the triumph of nurturing these kittens to health is profoundly rewarding.

If you are able to help by making a small donation, even as little as $5 helps us help them ❤️ thank you for your support 😻

This little girl (1 of 14) came in at the start of winter, after becoming separated from her mother, when their home in a redgum forrest was removed to make way for solar farms.. Now ready for release, she and any future young face an uncertain future.

🦆Received all call yesterday from the RSPCA to assist with a lonely duckling they had handed into them that was found on the side of the road all alone with a small graze on his/her beak.
🍃Now in our care with teddy and mirror as his new family for now, and his little grazed beak cleaned and checked by the vet at the RSPCA.

First litter of the season.
These 4 little ones ( dubbed the Jasmine 4, after being found under a Jasmine vine) came in weighing between 80 to 90 grams. Estimate between 3 and 5 days old.
Now all over 100g.

These 4 are located in Benalla and rescued from a rural property. Mumma eluded a trap. The owners of the property are working with us to capture her and reunite with her babies. All will be desexed, microchipped and vaccinated, then they will be available for adoption.
