Our office opening ours over the Christmas and new year holidays are:
Monday 23rd- open 8-6pm
Tuesday 24th Xmas eve - open 8-4pm
Wednesday 25th Xmas day- closed - emergencies only
Thursday 26th Boxing Day - closed - emergencies only
Friday 27th- open 8-6pm
Saturday 28th- open 8.30 - 12.30pm
Monday 30th- open as normal
Tuesday 31st- 8-4pm - no after hours available
Wednesday 1st- closed - no after hours available.
Thursday 2nd- open as normal

Veterinary nurse with substantial equine experience required for extremely busy veterinary practice in Central West NSW (Dubbo).
Preference for Equine Science graduate or qualified Vet Nurse Cert IV; must be organised and have good time management skills and able to coordinate various procedures; computer and recording skills are an essential requirement as well as the abilty to work independently if required and more generally with the team. Work will involve accompanying vets and assisting with procedures at stable and outcall visits in addition to management of hospital cases. You will be assisted by our Senior Vet Nurse who has been with the practice for over 12yrs and will willingly share her knowledge and skills to train you in areas where you may require support.
Varied caseload with all breeds treated.
We have a surgical facility and are well equipped.
You may be required to assist with some other species other than horses on an occasional basis depending on time of year and team resources.
Wage - well above industry standards. Immediate start for right applicant

Congratulations to trainer Brett Robb on a fantastic training feat and to the committed owners, David Ringland and Kerry O’Keefe who have entrusted us to manage the veterinary care of ‘Gallant Star’. His recovery from respiratory surgery has been without incident and extremely successful.

Dr Hadley Willsallen specialist equine surgeon will be operating at Dubbo Equine Hospital on TUESDAY 25th JUNE 2024
Dr Hadley performs complex surgeries such as cryptorchids (rigs), arthroscopes, airway surgery, laparoscopic surgery, fracture repairs, just to name a few.
You do not need to be a regular client of ours to have your horse operated on at our facility.
