My beautiful Sami turns 3 today!!
She was my first foal and she has helped me grow so much. Before her I didn’t have a passion for breeding and now it feels like such a huge part of my horse life. Producing her from a foal to this stage has been amazing, and as we start the next leg of the journey I am filled with joy at the endless possibilities we have together!

While it may be bucketing down with rain, this boy right here has never felt better over the last few days. Energy back in his step and strength in his back. It’s so good to be back in the saddle, it’s time to knuckle down and get comp ready!

Finally some good news today!

After a few hellish weeks with the worst Trigeminal nerve pain I have ever experienced, different medication and antibiotics have literally helped saved me and kill me, making our competition season prep crash and burn 🤦‍♀️
But the good news is I now have an answer and a treatment plan with new medication so within a few days I should be back on the horses.

So in between popping pills like a mad man I’ve been able to enjoy the sunny weather with the kiddos in the field.

Charming loves lying in the sun☀️

At 5:30am when the cat sat on me to wake me up, I was not expecting to catch this.
10 years ago I never really wanted to breed and one choice after another God led me to this and I am so thankful. Breeding is now a passion and and constant source of happiness.

So while we aren’t expecting any foals this season, I am planning for a exciting next couple of years.

What’s that saying, life never ends up how you planned but exactly what you needed. The ups and downs, I wouldn’t be me or on this amazing path without them.
