With the summer heat in full swing, it’s important to remember that our furry friends are feeling the heat too! Here are some essential tips to help keep them cool and comfortable:

💧 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐇𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝
Ensure your pets have constant access to fresh water, especially placed in shaded areas. You can even add ice blocks to the water to keep it cool longer. Having water bowls inside and outside will help keep your pets hydrated whether they’re lounging at home or out in the yard.

🥶 𝐈𝐜𝐲 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐃𝐨𝐰𝐧
Freeze ice cubes or containers of low-sodium chicken stock for your pets to enjoy. They’ll love licking the cold treats, which helps lower their body temperature.

🌳 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐬
Set up shady spots for your pets to relax during the day. Paddling pools can be a fun way to cool off, but always supervise and be cautious not to fill them too high. Cats, in particular, prefer being wiped down with a damp cloth to cool down.
