They did it !!! Great teamwork and determination. Kevin started training DD, a retired farm kelpie 6 months ago. Kevin had a strong determination but more importantly a commitment. DD loves the training and adores Kevin.
Kevin and DD passed the Public Access Test with Approved Assistance Dog Trainer (Guide, Hearing and Assistance Dog Act 2009 QLD) Carmel FUDGE Kaczmar.
This new Miracle Assistance Dog Team demonstrated:-
* DD walking close to Kevin's left leg at all times. We visited Westfield Kotara on a Sunday during school holidays.
* walking through crowds.
* not picking up food from the floor at restaurants and cafes. We ate at Belmore Hotel, Maitland; Easts Leisure and Golf Club for soft drinks; McDonalds restaurant.
* recover within 3 seconds after being being startled. I knocked loudly on a table that DD was under and also dropped a clipboard later near DD. She maintained her position and was not startled.
* walked through shopping centre and supermarket at Belmont. DD didn't sniff at items on the floor, shelves or people.
* an examination of her body including her coat, eyes, ears, mouth and teeth, pads on her feet. We checked for parasites like fleas and mites, clean skin, coat, teeth and ears and no smell.
* being approached by unknown adults and children and not moving from position e.g. laying under Kevin's chair; sitting beside Kevin. We recruited strangers to help with this and DD stayed beside Kevin without moving.
* walking past other dogs. Kevin and DD walked past at least 10 dogs today at Belmont on the path next to Lake Macquarie; had unknown well behaved dogs with their handlers circle DD and an unexpected unknown dog on leash suddenly came around the corner and jumped on DD playfully. DD gave no signs of aggression.
* not sitting on public seating and travelling safely on public transport. A dog isn't to be a nuisance either. Kevin and DD travelled on a bus, train and a personal taxi. DD was always asked to lay on the floor and not obstructi

He is small but Dougie picks up dropped items, finds the keys and purse, pushes doors open and closes them and loves to join in the doggy yoga. Packaged small but contains a big Miracle Assistance Dog heart. π #service #assistance #dog #assistancedog #charity #donate #puppy #scoobydoo
Did you miss MAD Dog School on Saturday? Yes! We had Dog Yoga with Renee. Would you attend Dog Yoga classes once a month? Let us know and keep watching. ππ©ππΆπ
When there is nothing happening ...... Team MAD make their own fun. Lol. Reba and Fudge enjoying the plush Miracle Assistance Dog puppies. π
Azlan is 20 months old now but still just as adorable as he was when this video was made. This puppy comes from Jajaca Australian Labradoodles of which Neil Fanning is a part owner. Neil is the Patron of Miracle Assistance Dogs and the voice of Scooby Doo in the two internationally acclaimed blockbuster movies Scooby Doo and Scooby Doo-Monsters Unleashed. We think that their puppies have the Scooby flair for fun. Azlan is well on his way to becoming a Miracle Assistance Dog. π

Avalon heard that the Christmas tree is coming down. Lol. "You can't eat it Avalon but you can help us take it down." (If you want to know if he helps then check back in a little while.)
Scooby is growing into a wonderful puppy that loves to explore the world around her. She is making friends easily and it won't be long before she will start her big adventures. Puppies need to be protected from deadly diseases until they have had all of their vaccinations. This doesn't mean you keep them isolated though as the early socialisation period is very important to their development. Scooby has had her second vaccination so she now accompanies us on outings to places we know are safe. She will visit friends backyards where we know that no sick dog has visited in over 15 years or more. We also take her places where we place a rubber backed blanket on the floor for her or we place her in her crate where she can see. But life isn't all about training and going out. Sometimes we just chill and play with friends and toys. Here is Scooby having a little time out with a friend. As usual, the two puppies were jumping around and having a ball. As soon as I get the scary video camera out they decide to chill. Lol. Don't worry, they don't spend all of their time this calm.
