Sharlene, from Zali’s Run, Violet Town, has registered a walk for the Greyhound Global Walk on 29th September at Zali’s Run. Everyone is very welcome to join in.

So sorry to everyone about how slack I've been organising another gathering.

I got busy and then Christmas and then... and a week ago Jake tore his hamstring (he's much better).

I will organise something when I get my head around my life at the moment. Stay tuned and looking forward to walking with you soon.

We had a spectacular bed fail last night🤣.

Jake wandered into our sitting room wearing a fluffy layer of goose down and looking slightly guilty. I leapt up and rushed into our bedroom to find an explosion of feathers.

Simon and I had lazily/foolishly not made our bed and left our doona on Jake's bed - he shares ours but we don't usually share his😁 - and he had obviously done a frenzied nesting zoomie (inagine a tornado wirh four strong legs), destroying the doona cover and puncturing the doona, which I darned carefully in situ in an effort to not disturb more feathers. Goose down on floor, beds, blankets, and up Jake's nose. Could only laugh at our own mistake.

And then he decided to stretch out on our bed while we tried to remake it.

Love him to bits🤣

Euroa Greyhound Gatherings kicked off with a meeting of four lovely greys - Jake, Manny, Helen and Elsa - and their humans. We had a lovely sunny stroll in Seven Creeks park as part of the Great Global Greyhound Walk.

Calling all greyhounds, and other sighthounds - whippets, salukis, deerhounds, lurchers, etc and crosses - from Euroa and surrounds to gather this Sunday at 2pm at the Kirkland Avenue barbecues for Euroa Greyhound Gatherings' first get together.

We'll wander, sniff, chat, play for about an hour as part of the Great Global Greyhound Walk (founded in the UK).

Please invite any greyhound and sighthound owners who aren't on Facebook.

Sunday 24th September is the Great Global Greyhound Walk, with gatherings planned around Australia and the world.

Let's get together in Euroa, greys, and other sighthounds, say 2pm. Time and place to be finalised if there's enough interest.
