Winter grooming is SO important! It’s time to get your cats 🐈 in NOW , for their pre winter de- shed and groom.

They are growing new thick undercoat and we need to remove any remaining undergrowth from last season to clear out the coat for the new growth.

Otherwise we find that most long haired cats will end up matted , either mid winter, or spring, and need shaving!😬

Regular grooming is the key to keeping your cats happy, healthy and looking their best, year round. 😻❤️😃☀️❄️

This is Miss Jam! She’s a grumbly, grouchy old lady and sometimes we can’t finish the job as nicely as we’d like because she has just ‘had enough of this nonsense!’ 😾 - but……today, she was purrrfect and we got to make her gorgeous! 😻🥰 Yay!🎉

Kitten Grooming! It’s SO important to get your kitten used to grooming early. A positive ❤️ experience with lots of cuddles, will set your kitten 🐱 up for a lifetime of good behaviour! 😸

One of our clients recently told us that after grooming her kitten now LOVES water and searches for it at home!🥰 We love these stories .

It’s important that your kitten get used to having claws trimmed regularly, and bottom trimmed (to stop those little accidents from happening) !

However the most important reason to have your kitten groomed is the de-sensitisation process that we do, to help them get over their fear and anxiety of being held by a stranger and taken to a new place. This will help your kitten in the future , to get used to vets, house sitters and other people they may meet .

Here’s little Mimi for her first groom. She was an absolute blessing and her lovely owner even brought a treat for her to enjoy after her grooming.

Mimi was washed with a Pineapple and Grapefruit kitten shampoo, conditioned and gently dried. Her claws were trimmed , her bottom was trimmed and she had a good brush , and then finally a treat. She was an angel throughout the whole process and actually loved the warm bath ! 😻🫶
