Goodmorning everyone, unfortunately a beautiful black and white desexed male cat was abandoned at our front door this morning. He is loving and friendly, not microchipped but wearing a red collar with a bell on it. Sadly we will have to send him to the pound if his owner does not collect him today. Thankyou

1️⃣ Provide fresh water at all times – Hydration is key! 💦
2️⃣ Avoid walking during peak heat – Early mornings or late evenings are best.
3️⃣ Never leave pets in the car – Even a few minutes can be life-threatening. 🚫🚗
4️⃣ Create cool resting spots – Use fans, cooling mats, or shaded areas.
5️⃣ Know the signs of heatstroke – Panting, drooling, and lethargy are red flags!

This lorikeet came into our care handed in by a member of the public. We have had no luck locating its owner. It has been very well cared for by one of our nurses, but we need to find its owner. It is very tame and has a leg band. If anyone knows of someone who is missing a lorikeet please call us on (02) 6555 2555. It is not a very common colour mutation, so photo identification (or knowledge of the leg band) will be needed to prove ownership. Found in Smiths Lake area.
