Miss Molly gave us two beautiful babies yesterday. Teeny tiny, all legs and EARS!! 😍 Hmmm Mr Bhodi you sure you can’t produce babies? 😝

Our beautiful Tess surprised us yesterday with this adorable little girl. We have been watching her for a week as she was showing all the signs. Let her out in the small paddock yesterday and when it was feed up time, there she was standing proud with her little baby, still wet and being cleaned off. You pulled a swiftly on us Tess but you did great all by yourself.

2 years ago, Rainbow Valley had their first babies. This weekend those babies had babies of their own. Peppa gave us 2 leggy black bucks and Pebbles gave us a beautiful little doe. 💕💕💕
More babies coming soon. 🙌🙌🙌

Well after a week of worry, hard work and lots of crossed fingers, I feel I can now announce that sweet miss Tracy gave birth to a little long legged buckling at 1am on Monday November 27th. The birth was less than easy. Little man was scrunched up deep inside her and I had to go in and completely reposition him and help pull him out. He was coming head first but no sign of any legs. His back legs were up under his belly and his front legs were down and back. After getting him out the poor little man had a lot of fluid on his lungs. The first little cry was music to my ears and I thought great, all is good. Not so…. He started fading fast and his legs didn’t work after being so scrunched for so long. With the help by phone calls to other amazing Pygmy goat breeders, I got him through the night. Keeping him alive was my main concern, the legs I knew his tendons just needed time to “unscrunch”.
So one week on and little man, who has now been named Cassius as he is such a fighter, is thriving!! His legs are doing better each and every day and he even has a hop in his step now.
Tracy is the best mum I have ever seen! She is nothing short of amazing and is so besotted with her beautiful boy.
Sooooo please welcome Mr Cassius.

Our little Tracy is due on November the 25th. This is her first kidding and to say I am nervous is an understatement. You’ve got this baby girl. 🐐💕
