Choccy is doing so well with his work here with us. He is such a lovely boy and its has been a pleasure to bring him back into work. We are now focusing on helping him and Jennie improve their communication and cues ready for when Choccy heads home.

What a perfect little riding pony face 💓 This little girl is doing so well with her baby education of leg handling, tieing up, good leading practices, desensitising, relaxation while being touch all over. We are starting to work on body control and trotting in hand for her future in the show ring. 🥰

Jazzman joined us last month, he came down a bit early to escape the the cyclone Exmouth! So he has had some extra time to settle in. Its approaching time for us to start work together so today I gave him a Bowen Therapy treatment to make sure he is feeling good before we get started. 😁

It been such a hot few weeks! Its been nice to get out on the road for a couple of days while the weather allows. Meet Largo, this was pur first session together today. Just getting to know him and preparing him for coming back into work. Also my 4th session will Apples, she's coming along beautifully 🥰

We are devastated 💔 Grace foaled a beautiful colt on Wednesday night. Everything went beautifully and was up and drinking, healthly and happy. Just a few days later and he is gone. The vets did everything they could but we had to let him go 💔

Desensitising wasn't they plan for today but hey 🤷‍♀️😜

Henry headed home today. He has been with us on holiday since new years eve. Its always a pleasure to have this big boy around. Onyx also went home yesterday and the last 6 of the 9 horses we had here evacuated from the fires. Feed up time was pretty quick this evening!

Jarrah went back home to Carnarvon this week. I've enjoyed watching him build confidence and understanding in absolutely everything we have covered in his time here. I've already heard what a good boy he has been since he left us. Here he is riding through some pretty wet and muddy ground like a super star

Last year I worked with Bianca and her home bred TB, Prada. We worked through groundwork basics, float loading, saddling, longlining and first rides. Towards the end of our work together i was very pregnant but really enjoyed talking Bianca through things from the sidelines, putting our training ideas and concepts into practice. Prada had a long spell before the next step of her education. Well done Bianca on all your work - Prada's first prep as a racehorse. Home bred and home started 💓

Its been years since Mojo has done any of the liberty work i did with him when he was young. It was so great to watch him not only remember exercises from back then but help Linda to work out the cues and how to ask for the liberty circle connection as well.

Equine Focus Horsemanship and Coaching is owned and operated by lifelong horsewoman Jessica Panizza (Bosch). Jessica’s passion for everything equestrian stems from her upbringing with horses, which lead to her dedication to expand her equestrian knowledge. Over the past decade, Jessica has obtained numerous equine related qualifications, including a Diploma in Equine Smart Bowen Therapy, Certificate 3 in Sport Coaching (Equestrian), Coaching General Principles (Australia Sports Commission), Certificate 2 in Equine Industries and Certificate 2 in Agriculture (specialising in horse breeding), along with the completion of an Advanced Course of Horsemanship (California, USA), and courses in relation to equine behaviour, biomechanics and anatomy. Jessica’s equine knowledge combined with her extensive hands on experience uniquely positions her to assist you and your horse throughout your horsemanship journey.

Jessica has participated in multiple clinics with renowned horse trainers from Australia and the United States of America. Her knowledge of various training methods means you and your horse will benefit from a solid foundation, and she can adapt training methods to assist you with any difficulties you encounter. In conjunction with her training experience, Jessica’s background in Equine Smart Bowen Therapy, equine behaviour, biomechanics and anatomy enables her to determine whether your horse’s reactions or resistance to being ridden is influenced by factors besides training issues.

When rider coaching, Jessica will teach you the fundamentals of riding while you learn to work as team with your horse.Jessica concentrates on teaching riders to have an independent seat, soft hands and effective aids, so you and your horse can stride towards increased harmony, relaxation, and impulsion.If you do not own a horse, Equine Focus has school horses available for beginner and intermediate riding lessons.
