With the last cake done and dusted, this marks the end of our chapter on the Gold Coast 💔

With almost 800 orders in just over a year, GDB reached new heights in the GC and I can’t thank you all enough for your support and kindness along the way.

For now the future is uncertain for us with the move to Melbourne coming up next week but that isn’t to say we are gone forever.

For now I’ll be focusing on my dog training career with and making the most of the incredible opportunity they have given me.

If and when I choose to reopen, I’ll definitely keep you all updated via socials but for now, from myself, Goose, Stevie and Max, bye for now and give all your good boys and girls big cuddles from us all! 💕💕💕

To all our wonderful customers and their good boys and girls 💕

Since we opened here in the Gold Coast at the beginning of last year, we have been fortunate enough to help over 750 dogs, and their owners, celebrate birthdays and special occasions with our cakes and tasty treats.

The business, however, was never intended to be long term. My passion has always been working with animals and it is now time to take the next step in my career.

As some of you may know, last year I undertook formal studies with the National dog trainers federation and have since accepted a job opportunity within the dog training industry in Melbourne.

The Good Dog Bakery will continue to run until I move to Victoria in early August. All current bookings will be fulfilled and we still have few spaces left this month for orders.

As for the future of GDB, I can’t say for certain. Right now my focus is on my next adventure but I will be sure to keep you updated should we decide to re-open in Melbourne.

I cannot thank enough each and every one of you who have placed an order with us and shared photos of your pups enjoying their treats. They genuinely made the late nights and early mornings of baking all worthwhile!

The goal of GDB was always to bring happiness to the lives of both dogs and their owners and I hope that my little business has helped play a small part in that.

It’s National take your dog to work day!
