Thinking of buying a puppy this Christmas? For God’s sake, do your research and make sure you buy from an ethical breeder. My friend Maria runs a brilliant website which only allows ethical breeders and rescues. Please go there. Do not buy from gumtree or Facebook marketplace or anywhere else where you’re likely to end up with a dog from a cruel and horrible puppy factory.

What is a Frashie, you say? It’s a cross between a French Bulldog and a Dachshund. Little but fierce! And very cute.

Session 2 we taught boundaries inside the house and house training.

Session 3 next week – walking on the lead and socialisation.

DYK how Bichon Frisés got their name?

This adorable little breed has been around since the time of Jesus Christ – but when it was time for the French Canine Institute to give it a name so they could be recognised by kennel clubs, they couldn’t make up their mind.

One of the officials said what does the dogs look like? The breeder said “little white fluffy dog”.

So the FCI said okay, let’s call them Bichon Frisé. (That literally translates as little & fluffy. 😂)

This not so great picture is a very naughty Bichon who bites everybody who touches him where he doesn’t want to be touched. He might not be coming to Charm School, but we will be able to help him with a private session instead.
