🎄🌴Last night we were invited to sector catch up in Broadbeach (yep, is also an arts producer.)
We took along a purple compost caddie, worded up the events team and today we swung in to collect 7litres of food waste today. 🧀🥜🍖🥗🍪
... it might not seem like much, but food scraps dont belong wrapped in a plastic bag and thrown into landfill, so we're taking it to our community compost hubs to compost.
We'd love to help more events be part of the circular economy ♻️

We've composted over 140 TONNES!

Since 2021, together with our amazing team, we've composted and diverted oved 140,000kgs of organics, keeping it out of Gold Coast landfill. Thats a lot of nutriet rich compost that has been returned to local soils.

This 240litre load of used coffee grinds, is the byproduct of over 5000 locally enjoyed lattes!
We just delivered this to a home gardener in Elanora to feed their compost, banana plants & dress grassed areas.

Please be advised that the Burleigh Heads swap cage is currently not accessible. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and will provide an update as soon as access is restored. Some fencing has been installed around our site, but we haven’t been issued an access key.

Our Miami and Currumbin swap cages remain open and available for use.

Meet the newest member of our family, OSCA!
OSCA is an industrial composting unit, thats going to take the back-breaking work out of the composting process.
Designed & built by John & Paul at OSCA Technologies, this is the first OSCA m2 to arrive on the Gold Coast.
