Lazy Bones Cat Rescue Lazy Bones Cat Rescue is a privately run cat rescue based on the outskirts of Goulburn, NSW. WE DO NOT ACCEPT UNWANTED CATS.

Our aim is to trap, rehabilitate and re-home cats and kittens from colonies in Goulburn. We currently have 37 cats in care, most of which came from the streets of Goulburn however some of the cats are from Sydney and Canberra. We will gratefully accept donations but we are not a registered charity. If you would like to make a donation or sponsor a cat, please send us a message. If you are interest

ed in adopting one of our cats, please get in contact and we will arrange a meet and greet. All Lazy Bones cats are to go to indoor only homes, access to an outdoor enclosure is preferred but not essential. Female $300.00
Male $250.00

Not all cats that we trap are able to be be adopted due to behavioural issues, ongoing medical problems or they are too old (sadly we are yet to receive a request for an old cat). These cats will live out their lives at the rescue. All cats are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated. All funds go towards the ongoing care of the cats that call Lazy Bones home and trapping and desexing of further cats.

This lovely guy is looking for his forever home.

He has been saved from a horrible hoarding situation in Goulburn. We are assisting as best we can with the lovely lady who is trying to get them out of there.

This guy has a really lovely temperament. He absolutely loves pats, and I mean loves them. He will literally follow you around crying for attention.

He doesn’t go much on having other cats around but this could be that he came from a house with so many that he just wants all your attention to himself.

His age is uncertain but at a very rough guess we would say 2-3 years.

Please get in touch if you can offer him an indoor only home.

We had to say goodbye to our beloved Ewok (aka Wok) yesterday. We are heartbroken.

She was taken to the emergency vet last Saturday because she didn’t get out of bed for breakfast which is unlike her. Wok loved her food.

After tests and xrays, it was determined that she had FIP. Wok didn’t improve with medication and went downhill quickly.

Wok was born at Lazy Bones 12 years ago to a homeless cat we took in. She had two brothers and two sisters that found lovely homes. Wok stayed with us because she had a special relationship with one of the boys, her beloved Jack.

These little cuties are three weeks old today ❤️ Get in contact if you are interested in adopting one or two of these munchkins. They are super smoochy already.

These cute little bubbas are from the colony we are currently trapping. They were very scared and hissy but they are more trusting by the day. They have finally realised that we don’t want to hurt them. They have toys, food, scratching posts and beds … it is so much better than living on the street. If you are interested in adopting one or two of these little cuties please send us a message. If you don’t already have a cat we always advocate for adopting two so they have company, they are more destructive when they are on their own 🥰 They will be ready in two weeks after they have all their vet work done.

When all you want to do is have a sleep but the kittens won’t stop playing 😻
