If only humans would do the right thing...maybe the "tables should be turned"to teach the lesson
Inspectorate Update โ 31 Dogs, including 15 Puppies, in RSPCA NSW Care After Seizure in the Macarthur Region.
On Friday 5 July 2024, at a breederโs property in the Macarthur Region, a team of RSPCA NSW Inspectors, in company with RSPCA NSW vets and members of the NSW Police Force executed a search warrant, resulting in the seizure of 24 dogs.
The dogs were found to be suffering from a range of veterinary issues, including poor body condition, ear infections, intestinal worm burden, dental disease, conjunctivitis, and matting. In addition, there was evidence of breaches of the Animal Welfare Code of Practice in relation to the living conditions and general standards of husbandry in the breeding establishment. Eight puppies and two heavily pregnant females were among the 24 dogs taken into RSPCA NSW care.
On Saturday 6 July 2024, seven puppies were born after both pregnant females gave birth, bringing the total number of dogs in care to 31.
We are pleased to confirm that both mothers and their puppies are safe and doing well. All 31 dogs remain in our care, where they are undergoing veterinary assessment and receiving treatment as needed.
This is part of an ongoing cruelty investigation.
