Gosh!! Feeling the love this Christmas! Thank you to Michelle and Kels for my gorgeous tote bag ❤️ and for spoiling their favourite girl, Star, with a new summer rug! I'm not sure how long it will stay white 😆 but Star did approve 🐎😍 xx

A couple of days ago Star had a bit of a health scare, with a mild bout of colic. The greatest thanks to Cooroora Veterinary Clinic for getting here so quickly, and giving her the greatest care.
She is now back to her normal sparkely self, with her "Mini-me" Lil'Boss never too far away.
She likes Lil'Boss very much (he's 13 months old), and while she won't let him get too close, she waits for him at times and makes the other horses behave with him.

We use Dynavyte Luronica for Star and it keeps her joints on great shape. Would not be without it.

I always look forward to visits from Nick at KISS Horsemanship! Today he made an enormous improvement in a tendon issue Pilgrim had on his fetlock. It's just amazes me how fast Nick can fix a horse's problems. Now just applying ice and rest. (And going off to find where I put my iceboot🤣)

Lil'Boss is settling in. I'm looking forward to handling him a bit more next week. It didn't take too long to get his halter on today, and he tolerated the application of ointment pretty well. He doesn't like his legs being touched so I'll be working on that straight away.

From Tamworth to Warwick today, his first time travelling in a float (or anything). He did so well, he roads were so rough, and he has settled into his nice grassy yard at the Showgrounds. The property he was from is so beautiful.

We had a very rainy day today, but no worries, we enjoy our wet weather sessions!
We rasped Star's hooves, practiced bandaging (a pretend leg wound), took her vital signs of temperature, pulse, checked her gums and hydration levels. 👏 All the while Star ate lucerne and had a nap ❤️

Tomorrow I am heading off to Tamworth 🥴 to pick up our new yearling ❤️. The Ute's fuelled up... I better go pack some ...

I love our visits from KISS Horsemanship! It was Sport's first time seeing Nick and he was very sore in the shoulders and hips, but Nick sorted him out. ❤️ I love this short video of Sporty's eyes rolling around as Nick works on his shoulder 😂

Oh this rain is now DRIVING ME CRAZY!! AAAUUUGGĢHHHHH!! I need an Indoor Arena!!!!

Sophia and I are heading overseas for 3 weeks and I plan to be back with lessons from Monday 13th November. Thank you everyone for your well wishes (my bags will be heavy with stowaways! 🤣). We leave tomorrow, first stop is Rome!
