Our "buy off the truck" hay days:

Every month we run in a truck from Victoria from our known and trusted farmer who has been with us since the beginning! Our prices are pick up on the day prices only and there are minimum order amounts.

Next one rolling in THIS SUNDAY 25th August!

The rules:
🦄orders are in multiples of 7 only, by type
🦄pre-orders only (we sell out before the truck lands)
🦄you must pick up on the day in your allocated time slot, which is sent to you on the Friday before (latest), no storage, no delivery.

The hay available:
🍃 Low sugar AND low calorie teff (for your more voluptuous pons): $24.50
🍃 Yummy rye: $21
🍃 First cut lucerne (thicker stalks with a good amount of leaf): $22.50
🍃 Prime lucerne (leafy, dense all the good things prime lucerne should be): $26.50

We're now able to exchange your gas bottles! 🥳

We're all set up to exchange your Supagas 45kg, 8.5kg and 3.7kg gas bottles. You can exchange them at the convenient location 1 Victoria Street, Hall at Canberra Stockfeeds!

We have some exciting news…. our little truck 🚚 arrived and will start running deliveries from next week 🎉

However, the little truck cannot be beetling around just being known as “Isuzu” so we need to name her 🤔, and we’d like YOU to name her 🤩

Of course what you get is the bragging rights but there is also a $25 store voucher for the top reacted to name.

Goood morninggg

We think it's about time that we (re) introduce one of our stars of our operation (and the reason we exist). To those who don't know her, this is Poppy - also affectionately known as Miss Pop, Queen P, Popsicle - and a Queen she most certainly is.

She's our chief taste/quality tester and she is the reason that Neigh Hay and now Canberra Stockfeeds exist! We are passionate about providing Poppy with the best care we possibly can, and this means sourcing the best hay and feed we possibly can! The drive to keep Poppy happy and healthy is what's driven us to seek knowledge from independent nutritionists and deep dive into research on nutrition.

During the drought in 2017, we knew we had to source hay from outside the region to keep Poppy healthy and happy, so we did. What started as one truck with friends turned into many semis and b-doubles to follow - this soon turned into Neigh Hay and now Canberra Stockfeeds.

Poppy is an OTTB who has been through more than most horses experience in a lifetime. We're talking major surgeries with low success statistics, accidents and more. But she's always defied the odds and what has kept her healthy and strong through it all, is a balanced and quality diet. Although she is not laminitis prone, she is on a completely grain free, high fibre, low sugar diet (with the exception of grass, we do make allowances). Poppy is only fed quality feed, which means that we never source and sell hay that we wouldn’t feed her.

Pops and her developed taste for the finer things in life makes her our best quality controller, and we think that her health shine speaks for itself (even though she tries so hard to work on her "matte" look - zoom in 🤣)💜
