A very sad moment for me!
To my customers and followers. I’ve got some unfortunate news that I won’t be living around the area anymore. I’ve had to move all the way up to Hervey Bay.
I’ve got another snake catcher that will take my call outs for you’s all and he will charge the same.
I’m still taking calls or u can call Ipswich Snake Catcher.
Thanks to everyone for the support. And hopefully I can get some call out in Hervey Bay without stepping on toes.

💥💥 PROTECT YOUR PETS💥💥
We’ve had some calls over the past week mainly about dogs coming into contact with snakes. One good way to protect your cats and dogs from getting bitten by a snake this season.
Is you can buy a cheap rubber snake to train your dog or cat to stay away from and lean not to get close or kill them.
💥Way you can train them! 💥
Having a rubber snake tied to some fishing line and dragging that around your yard or house to get your pet’s attention, If they go for it, you stop them and discipline them the way you do till they work it out and if they don’t go close and stay away, praise them and give a little treat. Doing this a couple times a week will help your pet from getting bitten and save you $$ at the vet. Only cost $12-$15 for a rubber snake. A lot cheaper then paying $3k or more for antivenom or even the lost of your pets, which to me and other people is priceless.
So please keep safe and always remember don’t try catch it yourself and always call a professional Snake Catcher.

Some pic of the beautiful redbelly snake from Glamorgan vale the other day.
Hi guys!! Well I don’t really know how to write this!
But my son and I have till November or before to find a place to live! The person we live with needs the room back and we where meant to stay till I go on top of things and got working again which has been a tuff road, Seth my son has had bad separation anxiety for the last 4mths or more and is slowly getting better but now we only have alil time to move. I know it will affect him again when we get to a new place and this is what stops me from working. I can’t go to the shop by myself without him getting upset.
So after all that! what I’m looking for is if anyone knows of any rooms or garage for rent till I can get thing back to normal.
And maybe the other problem is I have a dog which I’ve had since 2015 and then I have my 6snakes and 2 bearded dragons and I find it hard to find a share house.
Thanks Rick
Finally, a Little Win for Snakes!
We have recently been notified by the Government Department of Environment and Science, that the gentleman pictured in this photo who killed a carpet Python for no reason has been issued with a fine of $718.
Now this is certainly not a large fine by any means, however it's a good start and the Department seems to be cracking down and taking illegal activities involving snakes a bit more seriously.
It is illegal to catch, interfere or kill snakes in Australia. Government issued permits are required to catch and relocate snakes. If you see someone doing the wrong thing, please report them to the Department of Environment and Science or notify us and our team, and we will report them for you.
If you choose to do the wrong thing and catch or kill a snake and then post it on social media, you deserve every fine and legal charge coming your way!
Thank you to the 99% of you that do the right thing, for those that choose to do the wrong thing, you have been warned!

A good size eastern brown from Laidley Heights yesterday. Took a little to get to him as he was under concrete pavers in a garden shed, I couldn’t use my hands to lift the pavers as I didn’t know exactly where the snake was underneath, I was also sure I had all holes blocked but it founded one on me lol. So this is the end of the video and the rest is of me sweating and lifting pavers with a broken pool cue. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤷♂️ #rickssnakeremoval #snakecatcher #easternbrownsnake #highlyvenomoussnake #livingthedream

Morning call out for a python in a carport at Barellan point. Upon arrival I couldn’t find it but with alil looking I found it sitting in the grill of the car that was in the carport. I don’t like grabbing snakes by the head but I had not much of a choice but still wasn’t held tight as u can see, u have a good chance of hurting them if u hold to tight. #snakecatcher #Coastalcarpetpython #livingthedream #nonvenomoussnake #carsnake
