Our Arthur (almost 8 months old) & his new favourite toy! 🩵
He LOVES tennis balls & balls that size, so was excited when the kids got this! I have to remove the ball at times though as he doesn’t know when to stop playing with it otherwise 🤣

Rayner 🩵 volume needed if you would like a belly laugh!
Listen to what happens when you are almost 5 months old, you’ve just finished your dinner but your humans haven’t let you back in to the other room where they are eating & you want their food too!
Rayner is certainly having ‘words’ with his family … & poor sister Frankie behind him I think is ready to sell him 🤣
Thank you to Rayner & Frankie’s human Mumma for this video & laugh.
If anyone is concerned. Don’t be. He is not hurt, upset or neglected! He is just being vocal puppy trying to get his point across!
We’ve never seen a puppy this vocal, it gave us a good laugh!

💚 Our Appleisle Puppy Room 💚
Where our fur babies are raised & loved before they are your fur babies!
The lounge folds out to an (extremely) uncomfortable bed where I nap (& eventually sleep) the whole time puppies are there.
The crate is for Mumma to have a break if needed although she will usually spend her days cuddling with me but I find even non crate trained Mummas will happily go in the crate themselves just to have a break from feeding puppies.
The puppy area in the whelping box has a heat lamp attached & stays small & cosy for the first 3 weeks & then extends after that. One part stays for bedding, playing & eating & one part is to try & teach them to toilet away from their bedding. Once they are 6 weeks old & had their first vaccination they only spend nights in here & spend the days playing & sleeping in the rest of our home.
Our cupboards are full with everything we may need from an incubator & oxygen, to so many towels, blankets, bedding, wipes, a crazy amount of toys, snacks for Mumma & of course coffee for me!
Our room is nothing fancy but warm, practical & comfortable. We somehow manage to fit our entire family in there for family meals at times if needed, we may squish each other a little but it works (especially that first week when I don’t want to leave the room!)
It’s a special place that holds so many memories. We’ve had puppies born in there (when Darcie decided to give birth to 12 overnight!), heartbreaks, worries & tears in there, but more than often it’s full of joy, cuddles, smiles, laughter & so much awe.
Arthur made a new friend yesterday! So cute! 💙💙

Olive & the ramp to the lounge. Also known as a place to lay, slide down & chew. All with legs crossed of course. So funny! 🩷
Too cute not to share! Texas enjoying his first swim the other day! He loved it!
Thank you to his human Mumma for sending us this video & for always keeping in touch.
