Been a few years since we have hatched any Cinnamon Keets and we have hatched 3 this recent hatch. The birds have settled a little bit with laying and we will be winding up hatching in the coming weeks. Anyone after birds off heat, it will be a few more weeks since the weather has cooled off a little. We will post when we have them available. 🐥🐥🐥🐥

We have suffered a huge loss tonight during the storms, we were hit hard and the wind was relentless, opening cages and with only one generator we have struggled to save many birds. We will be in contact with those who have ordered birds to inform you of what we have. It’s absolutely devastating after only putting some out today into our grower pens, they really stood no chance 😢

🤍🤍On closer inspection we have hatched our first Periwinkle keet! 🤍🤍 We also have a cinnamon and Peach, peach keet available 😊

The Cinnamon has quite dark eyes, you can barely tell they’re red in these photos. All these Keets are from our dark eyed birds, I should hope they have quite good eyesight. We definitely noticed an improvement when crossing dark eyed birds over our previous red eyed birds. Dm for enquires

What a little surprise this morning!

Having not had any red eyed birds for at least 12 months we had a lovely little throw back hatch.

Egg update:

Still very slow starting for our birds but our 3 pens are laying just not consistently. Our chocolate pen have started which is great, they took some adjusting from being free range for the last 6 months.

We have a broody hen sitting on some coloured eggs and choc split eggs so will be good to see fertility rates.

Pm for orders when they’re more consistent.
