We've been a bit quiet!!

Although the Team and I have been out and about to many National and state shows, one of the biggest pieces of news is our new addition.

Formally introducing; Badlands All Shook Up!

Presley joined our team after IMHR Nationals in April. He needed a little bit of respite before he was in show condition but has attended the following shows:

APPA Nationals
IMHR QLD States
AMHS QLD States
Beaudesert Show
ASEA Online Show

Presley has claimed multiple Grand and Reserve Grand Champions in both Halter and Performance.

With multiple registrations, IMHR, IMCR, AMR and ASEA and soon to be registered with the Queensland Pinto.

At our most recent show, Presley showed off his exceptional temperament, being shown in a halter class by my disability support client without in ring assistance.

Every day he proves his delightful nature, being the quietest horse on the property bar his very own Daughter who you may know - Belle! He is far quieter than all of my mares, and lives harmoniously with my c**t (soon to be gelding) Astro (aka; Altiva Park Necromancer).

In the coming months, each of my show team will have a post made about their placings from the year. Which will hopefully update the page!!

Miss Magic decided to protect her baby at all cost (my costs of course) and got her ankle caught up in the tin side of the stable while kicking at her inquisitive neighbours. She ok, all stitched up, but is on stall rest for 2 weeks.

So on Astro's 2nd day of life, he got to visit the vets! They weighed him on the dog scales after fawning over him and he weighed in at a total of 12.3kg! He handled his first trip in a halter very well, but its been too eventful!!

Magic is being an excellent mother and I am just so ecstatic with her quick delivery and how quickly little man got the hang of his feet.

I cannot wait to introduce you all to my first Altiva Park Miniature foal, and I promise I won't make you wait long!

Our show season has officially ended! Bittersweet, but we have all well earnt our rest (Especially Belle)! Being our first year of showing, we are extremely proud and excited to share our final results with everyone! After 19 shows, including agricultural and breed shows, we are excited to show the below results!

Congrats to Jackiee Mariee for an excellent show, I am so excited for what next year brings (even if I can't do Novice anymore haha).

APPA & BCPP Xmas Show 2023

Belle did absolutely amazing, coming home with not one but TWO trophies! We tried a few new things that we don't normally attempt, and had so much fun doing it!

Though, unfortunately no placings were given out in novelty classes other than 1st, the Judge made a lovely comment that Belle was very close to taking out pinto, so honorary 2nd Place for Best Pinto haha.

A huge thank you to Jackiee Mariee for hauling mine and Belles butts to the show! And congratulations to all competitors! Can't wait to see everyone at the next show!

Belle has come so far in the year of her life. From a chubby lil poddy calf to the show filly we have today. Keeping her amazing and adorable personality all intact. She's my little champion, and I'm so excited for next year!
