Red Dog Relay & Festival

Are you looking for a team adventure challenge? The Red Dog Relay and Festival is the Pilbara’s favourite and most unique two-day outdoor multi-sport adventure experience. This 7 leg, two-day relay, based out of Karratha, offers a diverse and challenging course, plus breathtaking scenery as competitors traverse parts of the beautiful Pilbara region. Teams of 4-6 competitors run, cycle, walk, swim,

paddle and four wheel drive their way across some of the Australia’s most picturesque landscapes including camping overnight at the Homestead in the Millstream Chichester National Park. Participants come from all over to participate in this fun and popular team building event, inspired by the iconic kelpie Red Dog's travels. New in 2016, participants will experience an expanded course (now more than 400kms in length), the addition of a Super Team category, a Presenting Partnership with The Quarter (Karratha's Destination Precinct), new merchandise and more. This year the Relay will finish at The Quarter in the Karratha CBD where competitors will be cheered on by local residents and visitors as part of a much expanded Red Dog Festival Finale of music, entertainment, food and celebrations.
