We posted Millie 2 weeks ago as an assisted rehoming case.
Sadly she will be headed to Logan Pound TOMORROW if no one can help her.
We know her fate there at her senior age, sadly it's not good.
We want to help her, but we cannot get foster carers for adult dogs lately!
We are starting to feel hopeless 😭
The big dogs need us now more than ever!

Do you have your leash? 🐶

On-the-spot fines for dog owners who fail to control their dogs in public places have increased to $806.

This includes having a dog off-leash in an on-leash area. Or, if the dog is in an off-leash area, the owner must be able to control the dog using voice command.

For fatal attacks, owners face fines up to $108,000 and possible jail time.

❤️‍🩹❗️TYSON- 175 days in care❗️❤️‍🩹

We gave Tyson a second chance at life when he was surrendered to a Vet for euthanasia, due to rupturing his cruciate ligament many months ago.

A second chance at life though was only the start of Tyson’s journey; now he needs a forever home to live out his second chance at life in.

Tyson has had lots of interest , but unfortunately we haven’t been able to find him his perfect humans 😢.

Tyson is an absolute love bug and as loyal as can be. He loves to sit with his foster humans on the couch and is always by their side, no matter what they are doing. He is smart, affectionate and has a beautiful soul 🥰🐾.

Unfortunately what has made several homes unsuitable for Tyson is not havingsecure enough fencing or the fact they have a cat 😩. Tyson is heavily prey driven and is not a fan of cats or livestock. He needs secure 6 foot fencing and a home with no feline friends.

Tyson however is exceptional with other dogs and loves kids as well. He is just a beautiful boy, who is well overdue in finding his happily ever after.

🆘- Assisted rehoming - please read

This family saved this boy from a yucky situation- but it’s just not working with their already well established cattle dogs - as a cattle dog mum myself - if you know you know .

“This is Boulder
3yo great Dane (cross?) male, previous owners had him neutered
Very tolerant with children and loves being cuddled on the couch
House trained if I let him out before bed time and takes himself out if he has access to our dog door
No aggression towards food with humans, can basically take food from his mouth.
Is jealous for affection and doesn't understand how big he is
With dinner time I've got him to shake and drop and waits for command (go on) to eat
Knows sit, drop and shake
Not aggressive towards other dogs but gives people a fright when he goes bounding up to them
Not sure about vaccinations, he is microchipped but I've lost the number written on paperwork the vet gave me
Currently on monthly flea tick and worm chews
No eating issues or health issues that I've noticed”
