Some snippets from our cow work runs at the Binnaway Cow Horse show on the weekend. We didnt place but had a whole lot of fun trying. Very happy with how the horses went, we learn so much more about this sport at every show we go too! We also had some horses in the ASH ring and Raven came home with a few broad ribbons to her name. Big thanks to all involved in putting this show on, it was lots of fun 🤠 and everyone was so encouraging and supportive ❤️

SOLD PENDING PAYMENT Towitta Peaches n Cream Reg HSH mare 2014, Chestnut/Pied approx 15.2-15.3hh Peaches is broken in and has compteted in a range of disciplines including ASH showing, drafting, team penning, ranch sorting and Gymkhanas. She sustained a significant hock injury in 2018 which has left her paddock and flat riding sound. We have used peaches as a broodmare and she gave us a beautiful colt foal in 2021, unfortunately the little fella contracted teatnus and passed at 8 days old however Peaches was a perfect first time mum. She has retained her milk since his passing and we havent been able to get her in foal for the last two seasons. Peaches is a sweet natured mare and makes a great baby sitter, she is easy to do everything with and can be saddled and ridden after long spells without too much fuss. She would suit an experienced rider who wanted to get around their farm to check the cows or a confident trail rider. She is educated and can travel in a frame and moves off leg, and was working the mechanical cow and doing roll backs and haunch turns before her injury. She is a big strong forward moving mare who can get a little hot or spooky under saddle on occasion so she wont suit a child or a nervous rider. Unfortunately we dont have a job for Peaches and with lots of young horses needing paddock space we would like to offer her to someone who might like to use her and offer her a forever home into her later years when her hock injury may cause her to become unsound. Due to the costs of attempted breedings this year we cant look into why she hasnt gone in foal, but our vet hasn't said anything strange was going on after multiple scans. With her retained milk she could possibly make a surrogate mare as well. She is currently in fat paddock condition. Labelles Rambling Romeo Rabler KD Acres x Budgerroo Dawn Approx 15hh, 6yo ASH gelding. Good basic education, fuss free fella that gives a beautiful ride. Snaffle mouth, great stop, roll back, walk to canter, side pass and starting to school lengthen trot. Done plenty of miles and has had some outings with no problems. Would suit a confident rider who can use their legs. He has been ridden by confident, experienced riders, a mature lady, and a 10yo beginner rider under instruction. Can crack a whip off him, ride him bareback, great with dogs, Machienery and all the things that come with farm living. Up to date with dental and worming, currently barefoot and has fabulous solid feet, has been shod before. Can load him onto just about anything, climbs up our skinny side load on our truck, also floats angle or straight load. More woah than go and is always great after a spell even when on good feed. Has done an ag show, mustering, turning back, trail riding, team penning has been started on the mechanical cow, has also been used extensively as a lead horse for young ones and getting horses too and from the farm with floodwater. Would suit Ag showing, ASH showing, trail riding, adult riding club, farm riding, ranch sorting, team penning or drafting. Rose's goal was to canter bareback before Christmas! Today she achieved that goal with a little help from Vegas and Georgie the wonder ponies! Well done Rose!
