Group of calves is so cute 🥰 - 9 beautiful babies 💕 staying out of this bad wind behind the hay shed. 💨
Pitter patter of little hooves ….. 8 Angus calves out and heathy. 🥰
Let’s hope the weather is a little kinder than last couple of weeks or Gail force winds and heaps of rain. 🤞🏻
Our first Angus calf has arrived- a bull. Others cows ready to calve soon. 🥰

✨✨Scolinda Royal George ✨✨

🐴Brown buckskin gelding, just over 14.2hh (Galloway) lovely looking boy with pretty head.
Sire; Grenwood Viking (15hh palomino sec D)

Rising 11, George has matured into a willing and friendly riding mount. With lovely movement, especially his extended trot, he is keen without being too forward.
🌟 George’s Riding experience include showing, adult riding, cross country jumping, trail rides, beach rides & arena work.
🌟A smart, sensitive pony, he’s a quick learner and keen to please. He’s never naughty, absolutely no dirt.
🌟He is used to being around tractors, bikes, chain saws, livestock and dogs and is good to ride out on open bush tracks and quiet roads.
🌟He self-loads on float, is great to catch, shoe and tie-up (including ground tie).
🌟 Great with groundwork and easy to handle.
👉🏻Will need rider with confidence and riding experience to get the best out of this lovely boy. Located Deviot, Tasmania

💔 Tribute to our ‘Princess’ 💔
We lost our beautiful mare Scolinda Golden Princess on 9th January 2024, unexpectedly during my riding lesson. 😢
We are not sure what happened, but suspect an aneurysm or something similar.
It was difficult to say goodbye - as we were in shock, and our hearts are still broken from the big loss.
🙏🐎Thank you to our lovely girl for all your joy and antics. You did amazing in the show ring and definitely turned some heads with your character and beautiful looks.
You were so amazing and quiet to ride.
You will be irreplaceable & we miss you so much. Forever in our hearts ❤️🐎 🌈 RIP Princess xx 😘
Saffy and her half sister (foal - no name yet) are so beautiful and friendly. They are great friends and spend most of their day together. Saffy, now 2 years old is filling out nicely & the foal is going to be chunky cob type 🥰❤️

King looking amazing for rising 25 years this year. Our Welsh cob stallion at Scolinda Stud 🥰 Looking forward to his two foals this coming season - Alis and an outside mare. 🐎🐎 King is fed a simple natural diet - with Belinda’s amazing minerals plus in feed and Belindas premium loose lick in paddock ✨ Gives a lovely healthy shiny coat - even in mid winter 🥶
Angus calves (7-8 months old) Weaning - update day two… Homeopathic separation drops in drinking water for calves and cows makes for a quieter, less stressful environment! For them and us 🥰
Our Angus cows and calves, we have 3 cows with calves at foot looking for new 🏡, pm if interested. They are ready to put back to your bull. Two have heifers at foot and one has a steer. Need to get our numbers back down, as we have 7 young cows/Heifers coming on.
Weaning time for the 9 Angus calves …. Mooooo Nice lot of calves this year. 4 x steers and 5 x heifers Heifers 👀 for new 🏡 , DM us 😀
Our young cows/heifer herd to replace the older cows. All by our bull, Marchington Andy, he is now found a new home with some unrelated cows. Young Calves are by a Landfall bull. Top Angus lines on both sides 😀
When you are a lazy cob & you sit down on your hay to eat 🤦🏻♀️😂 Oh dear Saphire, you are a treat to have around 🥰❤️
🤦🏻♀️When you grow taller than your foal shade shelter & think - that’s a great scratching material… Lol 😂 what a cutie 🥰 Still trying to find a beautiful name for her. 🤔
Hay, hay, hay! 😀 Another 34 round bales baled and ready to put away for our livestock. Love watching the bales pop out of the baler 🤩, like it’s having a ‘hay baby’ 🤣 Nice and dry this year, paddocks are drying out now & we have some hot weather on the way this weekend. 🥵
New paddock for the Angus cows and calves, now back with bull (Andy). The calves love a run around. The grass is so long, as this paddock has been too wet to have cows in it, with all the springs (ground water) in the soil, usually run over winter and into spring (this year, very late). Finally they get to go in this paddock now it’s dry.
