Come & join SKS Equine & Central vic Ranch Horse Assc inc for an action packed weekend.
Starting at 9am Sat we are trying something a little different to save everyone sitting around all day on the ponyโs with a 50 min lesson block on the mechanical cow or horsemanship foundation work , we Train with body and mind control, learn to teach your horse to use his mind to find the answer to your cues, creating less resistance & and more soft and supple, willing partner, to set you up for success in any chosen discipline.
We can cater for double or group lesson if you feel more comfortable with a friend.

๐advanced manoeuvres (reining, cutting & cowhorse) turns, spins, stops, lead changes, lead departures.
All rider levels welcome. All these manoeuvres start at the walk & we build momentum as we advance.
Sunday 9.00 am we will start with dry work, setting you and your horse up to work a Mechanical Cow with little rider interference & move onto working cattle, we will be using methods learned on the Saturday lesson day to teach your horse to turn around softly, willingly & correctly. Positioning on a cow, how to read a cow and read any situation that may arise in cow work or competition.
To get the absolute most value out of our cattle work clinic, we highly recommend you attend a Saturday lesson, as we will be learning the foundations & manoeuvres we use to set up our cow ponyโs, without the foundation, it is like riding a starter without doing the ground work.
Feel free to pm me with any clinic structure questions, or contact Genny with bookings & payment instructions.
