Wow what a massive weekend we finally completed our first 80km ride at the Moyston CFA Fundraiser. We place 3rd Heavyweight in 7 hours and 7 minutes and coming home with the Vets Choice award generously sponsored by Donna and Drew.
Firstly a massive shout out to my main man Baxter you blew me away over the weekend, not a foot wrong.
Sallyann Duke and Des you are are both superstars guiding us around our first 80. This is the first ride Baxter has been able to go side by side with another horse 🥰
My super Strapping team Martin, Donna, Drew, Alexa and Tayla you all did amazing getting us through and Baxter looked beautiful for Best Conditioned.
Sioux and Charlie thanks for putting on another fantastic ride I love the scenery. Also thanks for the earrings (it pays to nominate first 🥰)
Paul you did an amazing job as always as Cheif Steward, our Vets Narelle, Lesley and Rory amazing as always. The TPRs thanks you for giving up your time to support the ride.
Back home a massive thanks to Kerrie for training with me and to Carolyn for always supporting me in endurance.

A massive thank you to Donna Drew Nicholas and Habib for getting us around, we had so much fun.
Another massive thank you to my strapping team Kerrie Gabb and Mark Gabb (also thank for feeding me)
Thanks to the whole Ararat ride organisers you did a fantastic job, Shannon Decker the track was marked beautifully. Digger Leehane you smashed it as Cheif Stewart again. The vets amazing as normal. Thanks to all the TPR's and volunteers too.

My boy did me proud, his last 40 was 4 years ago and he went around getting stronger as the distance went on. He finished with a heart rate of 40 and all A's and 1's at the end.
He fell in love with his camp buddy Fox, a beautiful standy mare owner by Ashleigh Robinson ( ) they travelled around amazingly together. Thanks so much, Ash, for going round with us. I can't wait to do it again.
Thanks to Donna Drew Nicholas and Sioux Reid for taking care of us in camp.
Also to Carolyn for taking care of Baxter while I've been house sitting for the last month.
Lastly a massive thanks to the Eldorado RO's, I'm so glad I finally got around on my 3rd attempt the scenery is spectacular. Paul you did amazing as CS, Ash and Renee you guys are amazing as always as vets. Lastly thanks to the TPR's and volunteers you all did amazing.
Now let's try an 80
