Not the best photo as he is a bit flighty at the moment, but today we finally picked up an exchequer leghorn cockerel to be able to start working on these as a project to eventually have at a standard for exhibition. It will be a while in the making but we have to start somewhere.
Exchequer leghorns are extremely difficult to find in South Australia and our single female is the result of incubating 3 dozen eggs. 2 dozen of those were posted from Sunbury in Victoria.
