This beautiful little budgie was found in East Lismore today 22/12/24 being attacked by birds.

Fondly named Smudgie by its finder, please share this post far and wide.

Let’s get this little one back home in time for Christmas.

Safe and well with I Care 4 Your Pets. It will be taken to the vet tomorrow, if not contacted by their guardian.

In order for it to be reunited with the right guardian, you will need to identify the markings on its face 🙂

🌟 Becoming the Best I Can Be for the Animals 🌟

After having meaningful conversations with ALL our amazing local vets, I’ve discovered a critical need for an after-hours pet ambulance service to transport our beloved animals to emergency clinics when they need it most.

With my background as an RSPCA Animal Emergency Ambulance Officer, RSPCA Inspector and starting my career as a junior Vet Nurse 25 years ago, I’ve decided it’s time to step up.

I’m back in study mode, learning the latest in critical care to ensure I can provide the highest level of support to pets in urgent situations.

🐾 A HUGE shoutout to Vetlove Goonellabah for offering me a placement to complete this vital training. I can’t wait to bring this much-needed service to our community.

🚑 Keep an eye out on the road for our critical care ambulance. – we’re ready to be there when your pets need us the most! 💙

I go through shoes regularly, walking many kilometres a week and it also involves getting pretty wet when it's raining.
