Hi all… just a quick note to let you know that we will be away from, Tuesday 27th December until Friday 30th December.
We will be available on the morning of Christmas Day (until about 3.00pm, and Boxing Day.

We also aren’t home today (24th).

I just don’t understand the system… why would the RSPCA remove the order, knowing that it’s most likely that this horse will return to its original owner?
Surely the original owner should be told that they’ll never get her back… and they should be lucky that they aren’t being fined for allowing her to get that bad?!?

I will (or my daughter will) make a post as soon as we get any new hay in… right now we only have 4x3 Rhodes rounds for $95 each.

Well hello to our faithful followers…

I know it’s been a while since I posted anything buts it’s been pretty quiet on the hay front!
All the flooding we’ve endured has been tough on our local farmers and getting decent quality small squares (of any kind) is proving very difficult.

So, unfortunately, we still don’t have any smalls at all.

We do, however, have a new load of 4x3 rounds of beautiful Rhodes grass… it is nice and fine, and green.

Unfortunately, due to the increase in fuel prices, we have had to put this lot of rounds up to 95.00… our first increase in, at least, two years.

And we have also been forced to increase our delivery fees slightly… our minimum fee (for local delivery) is now $30.

Just an update on our stock…

Since the floods, then with work commitments, we haven’t been able to get out and pick up stock, other than grassy lucerne squares; so all we have right now is:

Hello to everyone,

We are FINALLY getting some more Grassy/Lucerne rounds in!! 👏 👏

They should be ready for Dave to pickup on Sunday afternoon.

If you’d like to secure any we are happy for you to pre-order but, be quick, as they won’t last long.

They are from the same farmer, so are the same size (4’x3’6”) and the same price, $120 each.

We will only be picking up 22 as that’s all we can fit on the truck; and it will most likely be after Christmas before we can get another load in.

Thank you all for your support over the year and Dave and I wish you all a Christmas full of love and laughter.

Hi to all our followers,

Dave and I are taking a short break this coming weekend.

We are off to the town of 1770, near Agnus Waters; we are leaving early Friday morning, and won’t be back until late Sunday (12th-14th November).

So the last chance for delivery or pickups will be this Thursday afternoon.

Our dogs, cat, and horses will be well looked after by our daughter, Jaylee, and her partner, who are house sitting for us.

Sorry for any inconvenience it may cause but, we don’t get away very often at all and, as it’s for my brother’s 60th, we’re taking the opportunity to have a, albeit short, road trip with 2 of my 4 (grownup) kids. 😁😁

Hi all,
Just want to let you know that we are currently out of grassy/lucerne… both in the rounds and the squares.
With the on/off rain we’ve had, the farmers haven’t been able to cut their crops so we’re not able to restock right now.
Fingers crossed we may be able to get some by Sunday, but there’s no guarantees I’m afraid. 🤞 🤞🤞
We do have straight Rhodes in 4x3 rounds and squares and, we have prime Lucerne squares so, if you need to, you can buy the two and mix it at home.
We also still have a few squares of Barley bales.
