✨ East Gippsland Zone Showjumping & Dressage Championships ✨

We are incredibly proud of our riders who competed at the East Gippsland Zone Showjumping and Dressage Championships over the weekend, representing our club with great sportsmanship and determination.

🏇 Showjumping results:
• Ella — 3rd place, C Grade
• Chels — 2nd place, D Grade
• Lily — 3rd place, F Grade One Round Stakes (Nearest to Time)

💃 Dressage results:
• Lacey — 1st place, Grade 4 🥇
• Chels — 3rd place, Grade 2

A special mention to Summah and Jack, who went along to support and cheer on their fellow riders — such a great example of Pony Club teamwork and encouragement.

From early mornings to railside cheers, the support, horsemanship and teamwork shown throughout the weekend is what Pony Club is all about.

Congratulations to all riders on their fantastic efforts, and well done to those who have qualified for the State Championships in February — an exciting achievement for our club.

Jack and Turnip had a brilliant start to their weekend at The Elms last Friday, jumping confidently and taking out wins in both the 70cm and 80cm classes. It was their first time out at 80cm, making the results even more exciting for Jack.

The pair continue to grow together every outing, and we’re so proud of how far they’ve come.

A big thank you to the Sale & District Show Jumping Club for another well-run show.

We are so proud of the effort, dedication and hard work these girls have put in. They’ve shown great determination in both their riding and their theory — such an awesome achievement! 💙🐴

A massive thank you to Lacey Male for guiding and supporting them through their certificates, and an equally big thank you to Sue for all her hard work helping the girls with their study and theory prep. We appreciate you both so much! 🙌✨

🌦️☀️ LONGFORD PONY CLUB RALLY RECAP
— Four seasons in one day & hearts full of gratitude 💙

What a day! We had lightning, thunder, bursts of sunshine and all the Pony Club spirit to match! Our riders pushed through every twist in the weather with energy, smiles, and a love for learning 🐴✨

⭐️ A massive THANK YOU to our incredible instructors:
• Jess Armstrong – always guiding our riders with kindness and expertise.
• Sofia Perks – bringing the fun and flair to showjumping.
• Tabatha Ashlin – for sharing her time, skills, and energy — and generously donating her time to be with our riders today. Your support means more than words can say 💙

💬 And a heartfelt thank you to Kara, our guest theory instructor and a local psychologist who also donated her time today. Kara worked closely with our riders on positive mindset, confidence building, and goal setting — an incredibly valuable session that will stay with them long after the rally ends.

Your time, generosity, and care for our club and riders truly makes a difference. We are so grateful. 💫

🌟 Well Done to Our Members! 🌟

A huge congratulations to all our Longford Pony Club members who competed over the past two weekends at the Maffra and Sale Shows! 👏🐴

It’s been fantastic to see so many of our riders out there giving it their best, supporting our local country shows, and celebrating everything we love about our sport and community. 💙

You’ve all done yourselves, your ponies, and our region proud — what an amazing effort from everyone! 🌾✨

A big thank-you to the Sale Show Committee, sponsors, and volunteers for all the time, effort, and support that goes into making these local events such a success. Our region is so lucky to have you! ✨

🎶✨ A huge thank you to the incredibly talented Emily Nock! ✨🎶

Emily set the perfect tone for the evening, performing beautifully for the first two hours as our guests arrived at the Longford Pony Club Fundraising Ball 💛

At just 16 years old, Emily’s talent and stage presence are beyond her years — she captivated the room with her stunning acoustic performance.

🌟 A bit about Emily:
She’s from Stratford, Victoria, and has been performing publicly since the age of 12. Emily sings, plays guitar, ukulele, piano, and even the harmonica! She’s already performed at events including the Tamworth Country Music Festival, the Upswing Mini Fest, and the Sale Music Festival, and continues to share her passion for contemporary country and modern pop across Gippsland and beyond.

We were so lucky to have her join us and fill the room with such beautiful energy 💫
