I went for a wander around the block this morning with my camera. Bickie stood under the apple tree watching. I could almost hear her thinking, "Is there a purpose to this or are you just wandering around?" (The answer was in the latter.)

Next morning, the anaesthetic has worn off and she is out and about with her waterproof cover on her leg.
I am happy to report she healed well and is back to her usual self.

She is home after having a surgical repair of her foot. The big blue bandage is the wound. The smaller green bandage is where the drip was inserted. She is still groggy post-anaesthetic.

A mere month after being spayed, Bickie managed to cut her foot open on some barbed wire.

The weather is not so nice today-mostly overcast and cold. The puppies prefer to be in their kennel on days like this. They watch me as I come out the back door to see if anything interesting is about to happen.

I'm usually an early riser. This means the puppies get let outside between 5:30-6:00am. I worked the evening shift last night, so it was after 11pm when I got home from work. This meant I didn't surface until 7 o'clock. The pups had gone over the top (of their pen) and had a lovely time. My slippers were under this lot and were soaking wet! There was firewood strewn around, not to mention little puppy piles and puddles! The joy of puppies! 🤪😄

Purple boy (top) and dark blue (bottom) are the only 2 pups left now. Purple will be better suited to working or doing agility training etc. Dark blue will be happy as a family pet.
