Last week we had a bit of a scare with Dixi. She was due to have a litter any day, but was really struggling in the heat and looked quite unwell. We took her to the vet and they were very concerned for her and the litter.
The decision was made to have a cesarean. The vets saved all 7 pups, huge litter! Dixi had to remain at the vets as she was still unwell, so we brought the pups home, luckily super mum Cookie had a 2 week old litter and she gladly fostered all 7 puppies.
All are doing extremely well, poor Cookie now has a litter of 10. Dixi is home and on the mend
