Why is Ham bad for dogs?
It contains higher amounts of fat than other meats, as well as high quantities of salts, sugars and preservatives like nitrites, which can be harmful to dogs.

At the lesser end of the scale, Diarrhea and vomiting can be the result of them consuming ham, at the more dangerous end of the scale it can cause life threatening pancreatitis.

So as much as they would love to indulge on Christmas ham with you, it’s best to avoid, avoid, avoid!
