As we round out conference season, Key Account Manager, Jacqui Robertson, Diana Chua from Elanco's finance team and Digital Marketing Manager, Stephanie Sarulidis had a fantastic time at the Pet Circle conference last week. It was an intimate and informative event started in the best way possible - with Puppy Yoga, setting the tone for a day full of open minds, insights and networking.
The conference featured company updates and future strategies shared by Michael Frizell (Founder & CEO at Pet Circle) and the Pet Circle leadership team. Dave Bolen (Board Director for Pet Circle) also provided valuable insights into the future landscape of the global pet health industry.
We heard from some incredible speakers, including Travis Gallion (CTO at Google) and Pooyan Asgari (CDO at Domain Group), who discussed the Changing Shape of Retail. Additionally, Anthony Dever (Head of Creative and Brand at TikTok) and Paul McIntyre (Executive Editor at Mi-3 Australia) shed light on the Future of Marketing.
We finished with the Pet Circle Expo, where we had the opportunity to connect with various team members at Pet Circle, gaining insight into what lies ahead for the coming year.
Thank you to the Pet Circle team for organising such an enjoyable conference!
And that’s a wrap!
In late October Elanco attended the Greencross Symposium 2023 as Platinum sponsors for both the vet and retail events. Our team had the opportunity to network with vets, store managers and other key staff and express our gratitude for their hard work and partnership over the past year.
As part of our sponsorship, we had the opportunity to address the entire retail team so rather than us talking about us we called in the big guns - the remarkable Nedd Brockmann - to inspire on our behalf and show just how impactful one ordinary individual on a purposeful mission can be. And inspire he did; he even earned himself a standing ovation.
A BIG THANK YOU to Greencross for having us, as well as everyone who visited our stand and participated in our interactive experiences. We look forward to a strengthened partnership in 2024!

We've been actively engaged in supporting SIP Week, an initiative by the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation. SIP Week raises funds for The Spinal Injury Project at Griffith University, who in partnership with the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation, is less than $1m away from trialing a world-first cure for paralysis with a Cell Transplantation and Rehabilitation Human Clinical Trial.
Our commitment to this cause is deeply personal, as one of our own team members, Steve Ralph, faced a life-changing injury almost five years ago. Together, we've raised $5000 thanks to Elanco’s dollar for dollar donation matching. Our donation was matched by a SIP week benefactor, bringing our total contribution to almost more than $10,000.
A huge thanks to everyone who participated in this initiative. Thank you for being a part of our commitment to positive change and supporting causes that truly matter. Together, we embody the spirit of #WeAreElanco, demonstrating our #HealthyPurpose.
If you'd like to donate to the cause, you can donate to the Elanco SIP Week fundraiser page here - https://sipweek23.raisely.com/t/elancoaustralia

Lamb My Way
This year to commemorate Australia Day we supplied all of our employees with a voucher to purchase lamb and encouraged them to create and share their best recipes of Lamb ‘Their’ Way over the month of January.
The result was a dazzling mix of multicultural meals including curries, stews, roasts, koftas and a host of other recipes, as delicious as they were diverse.
We believe that this diversity is what makes both Elanco and Australia special and as we look to the future, we hope for an Australia that can celebrate our differences while focussing on all that we have in common and allow people to be the best they can be.
