As part of Elanco’s Global Day of Purpose 2025, we proudly partnered with Foodbank to help support Australians doing it tough this holiday season.

Twelve of our colleagues joined other volunteers to pack 780 hampers of pantry staples and festive treats. These hampers will go toward Foodbank’s goal of distributing 50,000 Christmas hampers this year – up from 40,000 last year – reflecting the growing need in our communities.

We’re so proud of our team for contributing their time and energy to such a meaningful cause.

🩺🔬 Vet Science Week 2025 🔬🩺
Nearly 1000 veterinary professionals from around the world attended Vet Science Week 2025 at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre from July 24th to 26th. Organised by the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (ANZCVS), the conference featured 8 diverse streams and over 150 expert speakers covering diverse topics from animal reproduction to zoo & wildlife medicine.

Elanco was glad to participate as a conference partner and connect with delegates to share a glimpse into the innovations we have coming to the market soon.

Elanco is proud to sponsor Murdoch University’s outreach program, “Murdoch on the Road”, which provides urgent veterinary care to remote Aboriginal communities in Western Australia.

This program provides spay and associated animal welfare services to animals in need, and also offers final-year veterinary students valuable hands-on experience to develop their surgical skills.

As part of our sponsorship, Elanco is also helping to reduce the impact of deadly tick-borne diseases like Ehrlichiosis by supplying Seresto™ collars to dogs in these remote areas. Seresto plays a critical role in controlling tick populations, and because it repels and kills ticks quickly, it is the only product registered to protect dogs from this serious and devastating disease.

We’re honoured to contribute to a program that supports both community health and animal welfare, and to play a role in protecting pets across Australia.

We had a fantastic time in Tamworth over the weekend - big thanks to everyone who came by and made it such a great event. It was wonderful to connect with so many passionate Angus people from near and far.

Elanco Australia is pleased to announce key leadership appointments designed to further strengthen its operations and strategic focus within the Pacific Rim region.

Hendrik Van der Walt has been appointed to the newly created position of International Ruminants and Sustainability Leader. Based in Australia, Hendrik will utilise his deep understanding of the ANZ market to spearhead Elanco's international ruminant business strategy and sustainability programs.

Lance Williams joins Elanco as Vice President - Pacific Rim. Formerly SVP ANZ at Zoetis, Lance brings extensive experience and a proven history of success in the animal health industry. He will be responsible for leading Elanco’s Pacific Rim operations, enhancing strategic partnerships, and driving market share expansion.

These strategic appointments reflect Elanco's ongoing investment in leadership and its commitment to delivering advanced animal health solutions and sustainable practices to customers and partners throughout the Pacific Rim. We anticipate significant positive impact from these leadership roles.

We once again had the honour of sponsoring and volunteering at this year’s Camden Show. Since 1886, the Camden Show has been an essential part of the rural community, dedicated to celebrating agriculture, local talent, and our heritage in Australia.

For the past two years, our team of Elanco colleagues have contributed their expertise in various roles, including horse stewarding, showjumping, managing the plants, arts and crafts pavilion, stewarding for the sheep and cattle sections, coordinating the show dogs and working dogs arena and helping both pre-and post-show. In particular, we are very grateful for Kim Baker, our Director of Study Management at Yarrandoo, who is an integral part of the Camden Show experience for Elanco and its visitors and is the reason our attendance and involvement in this event is possible.

Volunteering at the Camden Show holds significant meaning for Elanco. It allows us to support our rural communities, engage directly with our customers and consumers, and connect with the animals that benefit from our products.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this year’s show such a valued experience. We look forward to doing it all again next year!

🐑🌍 New Zealand Sheep Study Tour 🌍🐑

In February, Patrick Dooley and Will King from the Farm Animal Business took 15 retail customers from all over Australia to the South Island in New Zealand on a farm study tour. This trip was based on a sales incentive for our retail customers to support our pour-on lousicide products, specifically Viper and Extinosad.

The week consisted of 4 farm visits across the South Island, a visit to the Antarctic Centre in Christchurch and a lunch at Kinross Winery. The trip was capped off with some adrenaline seeking activities with jet boating and off-road car rally car driving in Queenstown.

The feedback from our customers was outstanding and it was certainly a trip of a lifetime!
