From basics like sit, stay, down and heel, to solving barking, digging, housetraining, door dashing, separation anxiety, and chewing issues, Marina will help train you so you can learn how to shape your dog’s behavior and create a lifelong bond through understanding and positive reinforcement. Training is not about dominance… It’s about trust, technique, consistency, and patience. Marina is a KPA-
CTP certified trainer dedicated to building relationships between humans and animals. In her classes, she uses the latest in positive, modern, and ethical canine-training techniques to nurture trust and confidence—techniques that will help you better communicate with your dog. About Marina Rodrigues:
Born in Buenos Aires, Marina has long had a passion for helping both animals and people. While working with service dogs, she developed an interest in occupational therapy and earned her degree in the field. Then she ventured to the world’s top service canine institute, the Assistance Dogs of Hawaii, where she honed her training skills and worked her way up to Program Manager. Kids Japan—an NPO supporting hospitalized children with serious illnesses—approached her to launch its first ever Japan-based facility dog training program. She successfully completed the mission in July 2021 with two star dogs, Ty and Masa, embarking on invaluable careers in children’s hospitals. Marina is also a Karen Pryor Certified Trainer.
