On the weekend, Matt competed Pebbles in the coveted off the track class for 5th! Pebbles was lucky enough to find her new home up there, and they parted ways after the class. Thank you so much to her old owners for trusting us to campaign this special mare - she was a pleasure to have around. Congratulations and best of luck to her new family!

We would also like to announce that Matt has been offered an exciting position in the racing industry and is (for now) hanging up his jacket and heading in a new direction, away from show jumping. We wish him all the best and are very keen to see where these opportunities take him. Thank you Matt for being part of our team🥂🍀

Someone who can drive, has thorough experience with horses, is confident with foals and young horses, has attention to detail, good initiative, will take on and remember advice, is “switched on” and most importantly - loves horses!

Type of work…🐎
The majority of work days will involve bringing horses up from paddocks, tacking up, untacking, washing horses, mucking out, keeping gear clean and keeping our workspace tidy. There will also be handling of young horses and foals on occasion. Riding available to the right applicant.

2023 JNSW Summer Classic🍀

A wonderful show to round out our year, with some fantastic results from the team. We were lucky to have Saturday off and miss the heat, but a huge thank you to all the volunteers and event staff for putting on a weekend of jumping in challenging conditions. All of our horses were given double doses of Value Plus Hydracel morning and night. This, along with additional measures, ensured they still felt refreshed and comfortable enough to compete.

MVP is shared between Jadan Park Acapella (Pebbles) and Greengrove Caspian (Romeo).

Pebbles and Matt took the win in the NSW Magic Millions qualifier. This was a big, competitive class and the top 5 earn a spot to compete at the Magic Millions event in January. Pebbles is currently for sale and would make a fantastic children’s or amateur mount, with plenty of scope to spare.

Greengrove Caspian ran 1st in the coveted 6yo class and 10th in the futurity qualifier. A couple green errors in the Final but we are so pleased with his effort. By far the biggest and most technical class he has seen to date.

SJA November show🍀

We were super happy with our final Sydney Jumping Association show for 2023. MVP goes to the lovely Sterlings Eldarion for being our sole ribbon winner in the 4yo! The rest of the team put in a great effort for a few lovely rounds. We were also delighted to have with us the beautiful OTTB Jadan Park Acapella, who will come onto the market soon🤩

2023 Australian Jumping Championships🍀

Very proud of the effort our small team put in at this show. Highlight being Matt and Dilandra’s win in the Emerald Q2 and 4th in the final, having the fastest jump off time after 1 rail in round 1. We are pretty proud, considering this mare has had a 5-year hiatus from jumping while on mum-duties!

All of the other horses had some fantastic rounds but finals cancelled due to the (torrential) rain. GH Emmaville Olga finished the 140 Futurity Q2 with 1 rail and a couple time faults🦄. Dilandra’s son Greengrove Caspian finished his Sapphire Q2 with a 6th, and her daughter Greengrove Captivate was very at home in the Opal series with an 8th in Q1 and is looking ready to step up. Congratulations Edwena and co on what was a fantastic show until Sunday⛈️

EMERALD SERIES (OPEN) | The final round of the Open section of the GPI Racing Emerald Series has wrapped up on the Pryde's EasiFeed Arena Two at our Championships. The top 27 combinations based on performances in the two qualifying rounds earlier in the week made up the start list for this class decided over two rounds. At the end of two rounds, there were three combinations still on zero penaties and they fought out the podium based on times. Fastest Round 2 performance was put in by local combination Jasmine Spira and ROSTHWAITE BALOUCHI, who finished in 41.43 seconds. In second place, with a time of 42 seconds precisely, were dual Olympian James Paterson-Robinson and KAMPARI. Marginally behind, stopping the clock at 42.50 seconds were Brad Frankum and his gelding WARRALEIGH PARK UMBRAYAS. With a further five combinations finishing the two rounds locked on a total of four penalties, it was a highly competitive class that was highly entertaining for all onlookers

SAPPHIRE SERIES | The JPR Equestrian second round of the Sapphire Series has been completed on the Pryde's EasiFeed Arena Two. In a single round class, there were 10 clear efforts with a further 14 combinations taking just a single rail. In a repeat performance from the first round of this series the win went to William Wood and POWERHOUSE PARK EGO ROC, who took 62.82 seconds to complete the course. In what turned to be a very close class, where only 0.08 seconds separatied the podium finishers, second went to Jess Brown and ELYSIAN FIELDS OCEANUS in 62.88 seconds. Madeline Sinderberry and MOLINDA JB were third, just 0.02 seconds adrift. Having won both preliminary rounds William Wood and POWERHOUSE PARK EGO ROC will go into the final on zero penalties, with a considerable advantage over the rest of the field.

EMERALD SERIES (OPEN) | The second of six classes scheduled on the Pryde's EasiFeed Arena Two today has concluded, but only after an exciting 11 combination jump off. After the jump off, there were three combinations who were still on the perfect score, so it came down to times. The fastest, by almost five seconds, were Matt Irvine and mare DILANDRA, finishing in 31.29 seconds. Second place, in a time of 36.16 seconds were Jada Burgun and LG AMARILLO. Dual Olympian James Paterson-Robinson and KAMPARI placed were placed third, taking 39.36 seconds. Rachael Vella and VELARA DELERIUM, who finished second in the first round and fourth today, will start Saturday’s final in the lead, on zero penalties.

Today we waved goodbye to the beautiful Chalina DP🕊️

This girl has been a very loved member of our team for the past 1.5 years and has had some fantastic results with Matt. With scope to burn, a big heart and a pretty flash jump, we will definitely miss seeing these two in the ring!

A big thank you to everyone involved in this journey, especially Tal for taking up the reins while Matt was out of action, and providing valuable input into her training.

Stonewall Spring Grand Prix show🍀

We had a beautiful 4 days at Stonewall Equestrian with our team. Thank you so much to Krissy Harris and co for providing the jumping community with such a stunning venue and fantastically run event.

All of the horses jumped well, MVP going to Yalambis Isodora who had a slick round in the very competitive 135 speed championship for 5th. Greengrove Caspian also continually kicking goals for a 4th in the open 130. The rest of the team backed up these results with great rounds.

2023 Jumping NSW State Championships

Another fabulous competition to close out our big show run over the last 2 months. So proud of this team who have all improved their jumping🥰. MVP goes (once again!) to Chalina DP who Tallara rode to place 2nd and 4th in the Futurity Classes. Thank you so much Tal!!! Greengrove Caspian also placed 2nd in the 6yo class and put his big boy pants on to jump the futurity classes, just having 1 rail in the Futurity “championship” class.

We had a great show at this beautiful venue. The team felt great with a fantastic surface and gear. We made sure to double down on our HYDRACEL electrolytes during the heat wave and every horse felt fresh, even on day 3!

Matt has been out of commission with 2nd degree burns. Thank you so much Tallara Cameron Redleaf Lodge for piloting Birdy, especially for 8th in the tough futurity spectacular😍

Greengrove Caspian stepped up to 130 level for a beautiful round - we are so pleased with this guy! GH Emmaville Olga also had some really consistent, smooth rounds in the 135 futurity classes💪🏼

The team had a successful weekend at one of our favourite competitions - North and Northwest Showjumping Club Tamworth WC.

MVP goes to Greengrove Caspian who placed 4th in his first futurity, and didn’t touch a rail all show. Chalina DP stepped up to the 145 Silver for a few really solid rounds over technical tracks. All of our horses qualified for their finals and the team is still feeling great after 3 weeks of showing, thanks to the Value Plus . Huge thank you to Steph Irvine for helping us the last few weeks!!!
